APPOINTMENT OF LEADERSHIP EXECUTIVES

AUSTINE MZUMARA
Head of Technical Services
Austine was appointed Head of Technical Services in
June 2015 and shall lead the companys infrastructure
development and operations support programmes.
Austine joined Malswitch in 2002 and has since worked
in various roles around Network infrastructure and
service delivery management in the Technical Services
Department, getting appointed Acting Head of
Technical Services in 2014
Austine holds a Master of Engineering (Electrical)
University of Witwatersrand (RSA); BSc. Degree in
Electrical Engineering as well as various technical
qualifications in networks and infrastructure
management.

GODWIN CHIMSEU
Head of Business Development and Sales
Godwin was appointed Head of Business Development
and Sales in June 2015 charged with leading the
companys business growth strategy and shift in its
market focus from predominantly enterprise orientation
to a mass-market focus.
Godwin joined Malswitch in 2002 and has served in
various capacities within the Business Development,
Marketing and Sales Department, becoming Branch
Manager in 2008.
As Branch Manager, Godwin was responsible for
coordination of operations for the companys branches
centred in Lilongwe and Mzuzu and in this capacity was
responsible for coordinating business development and
sales effort in the centre and north.

Godwin holds a Master of Business Administration,


Cavendish University Zambia, Chartered Post Graduate
Diploma in Marketing, (CIM)) and a Bachelor of Business
Administration.
Prior to joining Malswitch, Godwin worked with Stansfield
Motors as Fleet Management Sales Executive.

PRESSE MHANGO
Head of Finance and Administration
Presse was appointed Head of Finance and
Administration in June 2015 and in this capacity, he
shall also be the Board Secretary (for both the Board of
Directors and the Board of Trustees of the Malswitch
Trust) as well as general liaison to the companys
general legal counsel.
Joining the company in 2007, Presse is broadly
experienced in financial management, auditing, and
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) as well as
accumulated extensive knowledge in compliance
issues, taxation and team building. He has in the time
since joining the company, been an active member of
various planning and performance teams and has
substantial grasp of the strategy as well as
on-going operations programmes.

His prior experience includes various


financial management appointments with
PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Story

A Chartered Global Management Accountant with the


Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
in 1997, Presse holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (B. Acc)
Degree.

EMMANUEL MUNTHALI
Branch Manger - Lilongwe and Mzuzu
Emmanuel was appointed Branch Manager on 1 August
2015 and in this capacity he shall be responsible for
leading the companys brand network development in
the centre and north.
Emmanuel joined Malswitch in October 2014 as
Business Development Manager for Data services in
2014 and brings to the leadership team over 10years
commercial experience in market development,
strategy and customer relationship management.
Emmanuel holds an MSc. Strategic Marketing from
Leicester Business School (UK) and a Bachelors Degree
in Business Administration from the University of
Malawi.
In his prior engagements, Emmanuel has worked in the
manufacturing sector as Sales and Marketing Manager
for BNC Packaging Limited as well as a stint in microfinance sector as Business and Institutional
Development Advisor with National smallholder

With these appointments, we build off individuals that have been part of our long-term leadership
succession plan and presents the Leadership Group with a unique positioning to best inform our
strategies for dealing with present strategic deliverables as well as preparing the company for a
competitive and successful future
