A classic configuration:
The double rifle drilling by Krieghoff
The trim, compact lines of the Quadro action, which is made from high-strength Chrome
Molybdaen steel, are borrowed from Krieghoff ‘s popular Classic double rifle. A Purdey-style
extension between the barrels serves to withstand lateral bending forces. Elegant fences
reinforce the action and enhance the overall look of this fine drilling.

The Quadro features a point-of-impact

adjustment, which is integrated into the
front sight ramp. This allows re-regulation
of the barrels without ever having to
resolder or reblue them.

The double rifle-drilling configuration

comes in all common calibers up to
9.3x74R and 20 gauge shotgun barrel with
3’’ (76) chamber.
An available single trigger option may be
most desirable if the Quadro is being used
strictly as a double rifle drilling.

The new combi-cocking device

Krieghoff engineers have improved the already highly popular
and reliable combi-cocking device, which has set new
standards for safety, reliability and practical use in recent
years. The new Duplex Cocking Lever design (patent pending)
allows for opening and re-cocking the drilling with great ease
providing a speed advantage when it counts.

The ‘Quadro-TS’ configuration.
The maximum in versatility for a drilling.
Besides the pure double rifle drilling configuration, the Quadro 12 gauge or 20 gauge
conventional drilling with double shotgun and rifle barrel comes in a thermo-stable
(TS) configuration, and provides many possibilities beyond the normal drilling’s
use. By adding an EL-65 insert barrel in a smaller caliber, the
Quadro becomes a Bock Drilling. Add the new Krieghoff ESL
insert barrel available in larger calibers up to 9.3x74R and the
gun again becomes a double rifle drilling. Even an All-Rifle
Drilling in two large and one small caliber is possible by insert-
ing an ESL in the left and an EL-65 in the right shotgun barrel.
No matter which combination, the
Quadro thermo-stable drilling barrel
with full-length rifle insert barrels can
be easily adjusted for grouping when
necessary.

The ESL insert barrel, available in

calibers from 7mm up to 9.3x74R, is
fitted to the left shotgun barrel. This
allows shooting both rifle barrels in
rapid succession, making full use of the
double triggers, without the need to
recock the gun.
Inserting and removing the factory
fitted and sighted-in ESL is quick and
easy. The special ESL extractor supplied
does not only locate the insert, but
lifts the cartridge reliably and eases
reloading.
Both the 12 and 20 gauge shotgun
barrels of the Quadro are suitable for
steel shot.
