ABSTRACT: Silver is unique in its ability to react to light and produce images in applications
such as photography and radiography, no other metal has these properties. That's why the
reason for their great job in the field of photography and radiography, so that the recovery of
silver contained in effluents from industry radiographic X-rays and is attractive for its high
economic value.
Radiographic industry effluents that have already fulfilled its function are completely
discarded, which represents about 46% of the money intended for the radiographic field [1].
These sector recyclers only extract silver from effluent where the benefit is attractive
extraction. And for that reason, looking for waste recyclers reuse and private companies,
where the solutions are well concentrated effluent silver and do not seek state sector because
they vote the solution, when they reach the allowable limit for disposal this solution, time
which makes for a heavy metal pollution. Today, some unscrupulous recyclers, precipitate all
the silver, silver sulfide and then heat it until it releases all sulfur dioxide, causing pollution that
eventually affect us significantly.
For this reason we have sought alternatives for the recovery of this metal, but at the same
time new methods must have the environmental commitment.
2. INTRODUCCION.

3. DATOS EXPERIMENTALES.
Recuperacin de la plata de las
radiografas.

5. CONCLUSIONES.
La base adecuada para disolver las placas
radiogrficas es el hipoclorito de sodio.
El diagrama de Pourbaix, es una
herramienta muy til, para controlar las
condiciones para que no suceda reacciones
indeseadas.
Los mtodos presentes, nos dan unas
alternativas de reciclaje ms amigables con
el medio ambiente.
