As a receptionist, it was my responsibility to manage the switch board, which


included answering the phone, parking and transferring calls to the desired employee. .
At times when employees were unavailable, it was my responsibility to take a message
from the customer, and email it to the employee. It was also my responsibility to collect
down payment monies toward the purchase of a vehicle in the form of cash,, credit cards,
and checks. Another responsibility included managing gas tickets which included
distribution to salespersons and maintaining a file system of the gas tickets which
included the receipts and a electronic log.. It was also my responsibility to collect the
customer’s main information, input them in the system and file them in folders to give to
their personal sales representative. At the end of the day, my last duty was to drop all the
money, credit card receipts, checks and gas receipts in the vault and lock up.

As a cashier, it was my responsibility to collect monies, credit cards, and checks


from the customers for the parts department, and the service department. It was my
responsibility to file invoices and give receipts. At the end of the day, I counted all the
money, checks, and credit card payments that I had received for that day, file the
information and drop it all inside a vault.

As a customer relation secretary, it was my responsibility to call customers and


survey them on their experience with their visit to Darcars and file the results in the
system. It was also my responsibility to answer the phone and answer any questions or
concerns that the customer had regarding their visit to Darcars then I would write it up in
a report and print it for the manager of which ever location the caller was referring to.
