The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) is located
at Manesar, Haryana on Delhi-Jaipur Highway (about 40 Kms from
Delhi International Airport). The strategic location of ICAT in the
automotive hub at Manesar provides the automotive and component
industry faster access to the testing and developmental facilities.

Development trials are carried out as per user defined requirements for
the following parameters :
ICAT would also provide global trade related testing and certification
services to OEMs within India and outside in active collaboration with
the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) of the UK Government, with
which ICAT has signed an MoU. ICAT also work as homologation
partner with TUV- Nord, TUV- Rheinland, IDIADA, CCIC Korea etc.

Vehicles upto 3500 kg can be tested for various emission parameters: Hydrocarbon, Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen
Oxides, and Particulates, as referring Emission norms in India. Vehicles are tested for Type Approval and conformity of production
as applicable to Petrol/Diesel/LPG/CNG vehicles. We also undertake development work for vehicles operating on NonConventional fuels such as ethanol blended fuels, HCNG and others.
In addition, for development work, vehicle emmission can be tested for non methane hydrocarbons, aldehydes, ketones etc as
desired. Power Test and Maximum Speed test, Range test and Electrical Energy Consumption test, as per the regulation for battery
operated vehicles are also performed on Chassis Dynamometers. The facility for 2/3/4 wheeler Mileage Accumulation and Fuel
Consumption Measurements Tests Dynamometers is also available (with robots) and Drivers Aid Facility for undertaking
durability and fuel consumption measurement tests under controlled conditions.

Sealed Housing for Evaporative Determination (SHED) is used to measure evaporative emission from the
gasoline 4-wheeler vehicles as per the Indian, ECE (EURO III & IV), EPA and CARB Regulations. SHED can
also be used to measure evaporative emission from the gasoline 2/3 -wheeler vehicles as per CARB
Regulations.

sweep, discrete, random etc.) as per customer specified standards. Fatigue/Endurance testing of automotive
components with linear servo hydraulic system, environmental testing under controlled temperature, humidity,
