First of all, I would to express my deepest gratitude to my Supervisor Madam Rodziah
for her guidance and tips during the duration of Industrial training which are located at a
Law Firm named Syahidah & Partner.

Second, I would like to express a thousand gratitude to the boss of the firm which is
Madam Siti Nor Syahidah for her guidance during the duration that of the Industrial
training and for all her advice and the new working experience that she gave to me
during my time there.

Third, I would like to express my gratitude to the another senior Lawyer in that firm
which is, Sir Amir, for his dedication and guidance for all the time that I spend there.

Fourth, I want to give my thanks, to my family and my Friends for the Moral support, for
always be there for me when I almost want to give up, and for my friends which are like

INTRODUCTION

This program was created as a way to evaluate a student for all their
experience that they have learn during all the time that they have spent in KPMSI, And it
have become a compulsory for the student to passed it, I they dont manage to achieve
that, then they will need to repeat it until they passed it, in that way they can finally
passed.
Furthermore, what they dont really know is they by doing this Industrial
training, We will be able to train our self to be adapt to the real situation in a workplace,
and it will also show us that all the training and skills that we had acquired in KPMSI
actually help us a lot to be adapt in the real world.
Then, it will also help up increase the creativity of our skill that we achieved in
our study years, then it will help us to increase our level of confidence by speaking with
strangers in our office, then we can use our skill to obtain the objective that we must
acquire in workplace.

Mission: is to be a successful Firm which is on par with big firm that already long
have been istablish
Vision: To take as many cases as possible and successfully prove that our client
are innocent

Management

For the management, for every case that we first receive, we will have to made a letter
which have the word that our client have says, then we will have to made sure the letter
is correct by sending it to the lawyer for it to be confirm. Then we will have to send the
letter to the courts for it to be register then the case will need to be fight in the courts.

Operation.

For the operation it will first by making the letter for our client, then the letter will need be
send to our client, then the letter will be use for confirmation of what our client says as
an evident of what our client has says is the truth. After that, we will have to made a
letter called afidavid, that letter will be use as an update in our case, then the letter will
be update at the courts, after an update have been made, the letter will be send to our
rival firm. Then finally the mediation will begin at the courts and the hearing will begin.

Marketing.

We market our service by using card or pamphlet, so each people that came to our firm
will receive this card, then they can spread to people that they known by giving them
this card, then the second ways we spread it by using other lawyer. Sometime some
lawyer have so many case to when a new case arrive they will direct it to others lawyer
that they known, by doing this we can increase our network information to others
people.

Financial.

For our finance, we use most of the money to buy stuff which are required in office such
as file, letter, stem, and AR card. Also we use the money for the card which is use to to
market our service. Furthermore, we will use the money when we need to register our
case which is also at a price of RM 50-70, then we will have to use to pay bill for our
office rent and our telephone bills which is sometime very expensive. Then the fees or
salary for the workers which is RM 500 900 for some workers.

The first work that I receive is to made letter for our client, this part is important since
Malaysian Bar council always update to whether we do our work or not, so this letter
work as an evidence that we done our work as a Law Firm, then we have to send this
letter for confirmation to others lawyer which have the license to do so.

After that, the letter will be send to our client as way to says and show them that we are
currently doing their cases. After that, I need to made a letter which are name as
Afidavid, This letter is required to update or register a case to a High Courts, registering
a case usually take 1-2 hours to complete it.

Then, I will need to made another letter to send be send to our rival firm, they will need
to be inform of what happen to the current case, then they will need to be inform of the
current date of the case. After that we can confirm with the courts to be conform of the
date for the mediation and hearing of the case.

Then we will head to designated place for the hearing and mediation avenue,
sometimes we have to go to another courts in another state for example as the courts in
Cameron Highland.

Management

The management that I have learn in the time that I spend in the college really help me
during my time to work at this place, further more, I manage to implement all that I learn
to help me, this help me not to be panic during the work time, also it help me to adapt to
all type of situation which need me to do my works, like sometime the letter does not
arrive to the client so sometime I need to made letters at 10.30 PM.or during the time
when the client does not arrive at the designated time, so I need to made a new
appointment for them and at the same made sure that they will receive our service at a
much good timing.

Financial

The financial help me so much in this firm, as the work that was given the task to
manage this firm, I receive many help from this part as I manage to calculate the
number of money that I needed for our need Or when I manage to get the service for a
much lower cost than I was given, also it need to be focus to do it since if we
miscalculate our flow of money, we may not receive the opportunity to give the bonus to

our fellow workers and if this happen then we may not be able to satisfy our worker and
it will end with them running to our rival.

Practical Business English Language

This subject help me the most by giving me the skill needed to deal with our customer,
for such most of our customer are not Malays but they are usually Chinese or Indian
which they mainly use English for their common speaking language, then by using
these skills, it will help me to deal with others rival firm and will made them understand
our goals much easier. Furthermore these skills help me the most during making letters,
because by understanding English, it can help me type much faster without making any
mistake during the process of making the letter. Like example is when I made the letter
for our client and the same times I have to send it to our rival firm. Then It also applied
during making the afidavid letter, for these letter are many and long so any misspell to a
letter will required for me to made it all over again, so by having this skills, it can help
decrease the rate of misspelling in our letters.

Business Law

Business law help me in understanding some law and situation that happen in a case,
because of the understanding that I have learned in the study I help me understand
some law and some situation and why it is required to use that law in that situation.

Furthermore, I can also help my boss during some cases of which she became confuse
and why the need of use of that law.

Information & Techonology

This subject help me to understand more in IT part of the firm, for now we have the ERegister which is use to see the current situation of a case, by doing this we may be
able to utilize more of our specialize and we may be able to do our work more efficiently.
Furthermore, we can made our job easily by looking at the current situation and by
looking at that we may be able to skip some of the unnecessary part in doing our job.
After all, we may be able to decrease the number of our expensive, for example is like
when I look in to E-Register, by looking at that, I dont need to made any letter to be
send to our client, I just need to directly made the letter required for the Afidavid and I
can just look into making and update it in the courts..

Business Ethics

Business ethics in KPMSI have teach me to be etiqqued in all type of situation,

furthermore, I also gave me the correct things to be done in order to improve some
situation, Then I can be more reliable in dealing some customer that came from a higher
caste, By doing this I can be more careful in dealing them, For example is when we
dealing with a person with the title of Dato and Datin, or when the moral is low, I can
raise it again by making a bones or by giving them some incentive in order to raise it
again.

Principle of Marketing

It teach me to market our service more easily, like using another service to made our
card and pamphlet for our service, also, we can cut cost by using a much cheaper
service that they provide, Furthermore, we can manage the cost of our marketing
expensive in this firm. Then, we can choose a much better marketing strategy which are
appropriate for our type of service, for example is like from using banner, I use a card
service or pamphlet to made it easy to exchange our card between others service that
we have use.

Accounting

Accounting can teach me to balance our expensive and our profit, by doing this I can
see at what point that we are doing wrong, Furthermore, we can pinpoint our problem
and try to fix it at some point, it happen during 2 month that I begin my Industrial training
which I manage to pinpoint a certain point where we are having a loss at our marketing
service. By fixing this we manage to restore our loss to a profit, furthermore, if we
manage to gain profit, we will be able to gain much more bonus often as possible.

Meeting and interview skills

This skill that I have acquire during the learning time in our study time is that, we
manage to be more calm during an interview session. Furthermore, I can use this skill
during an interview session in the firm. Also, because of this skills, I manage to do well
in explaining regarding of our firm current condition in our annual meeting, by doing this
I manage to gain many things and at the same time I manage to gain many experience
in any meeting situation.

Statistics

Statistics help me to created a chart regarding our organization or firm, by doing this I
manage to created a chart regarding our level of satisfaction regarding this firm or a
chart regarding our customer satisfaction level in our service, by doing this I can
pinpoint the exact problem which we need to fix so by doing this I can increase the
percent of the customer became our regular customer. Furthermore, by doing this I can
make a little change in some service that we provide and at the same time can
decrease the level of our expensive.

Introduction to Business

This subject teach me regarding the strength of a leader which actually affecting a
business itself, by looking at this subject I manage to see and identify the strength of a
leader which is mostly charisma. By having charisma itself, the workers wont hesitate
on following a order even when the order have a really big risk, the same when my boss
take 4 case at the same times which is a big risk to most law firm, because 1 case may
take time to a duration of 1 years, and so this action is a big risk but with many effort
they manage to succeed this case and increase the bonus level of our workers.

Human Resource Management

For this subject, I manage to learn regarding the part where how a business find a
suitable workers for their business, during these part I manage to learn the correct ways
of finding a workers and the most efficient ways of using it. Furthermore, it is also a part
where the only worker that they have is the best of the best to them. Like an example is
like when they recruit a training, they will give them a large amount of heavy works to
see whether they can stand it or not, then they will reduce the number of work and after
that increase it again, this is a way to see whether they can adapt or not to the situation

The role model that I choose from the company is Mr.Muhammad Firdaus Bin
Ismail. He is 23 years old. He is not yet married and he has qualification on Diploma Of
Teaching English as Second Language from Universiti Selangor. He lives in Perak. He
just finish his Diploma and work here for 3 Month. Now, He is Pursuing his Degree in
TESOL at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He has a big responsibility in this department. He
has to manage the matter regarding the firm finance, customer satisfaction and also the
client appointment. I choose him as my role model because I think he dares to face any
problems and take the risk that arise and intelligent in problem solving. He has his own
principle to his ways life and work. His principles in his life are Be grateful for
everything that happen in our life, it happen for a reason. The most important things are
he is good in striking a conversation with others and is a very diligent person/.

I am very proud of his spirit and way of thinking. He also always shares
information about the firm and guide me in many things. He never gives up on what he
started and always looks for the future of the Firm. I like him because he always there to
help other staff when they in trouble and always do a discussion together when there

Number of Staff

Number of staff is quite limited since this is a new firm that was just establish, by
increasing the number of workforce, we may able to decrease the stress level of the
workers and at the same times it can make our work more easily and efficiently.

Internet Line

The current internet service is quite problematic and thus it gave us problem during
emailing with our customer and rival firm, by changing it to a better and much stable
internet lines, we will be able to do our works much easy.

Better Salary

A much better salary or a much higher salary is needed to be given to the employees as
it may give them a higher percentage of not going to others place for works.

Bonding with the workers

The firm need to made an activity sometimes in order to create a better atmosphere for
the workers at the firms, in this way they will become much better in term of moral at the
workplace.

Appreciation

No matter what the works that the staff had done, if they were given a proper
appreciation they will be able to better in works and they also may be in a good moral
condition whenever they are in works

Experience

This place give me a lot of experience in term of real situation of works and also an
extensive knowledge regarding the Malaysian law system which we are currently using,
furthermore, I also know regarding the knowledge of lawyer which is some of them have
the license to confirm an evidence.

Using our skills

This industrial training also give me the opportunity to use the skills that I have learn
during all the time that I have spend in my study time at KPMSI for the whole 2 and a
half years.

Bonding with workers

This industrial training also give me the opportunity to known many type of people
disregard their races, it give me the chance to truly known my workers as many of them
also came from another state which give a bigger picture regarding their lifestyle.

Moral Support

This industrial training have teach me on how important a Moral support really is in a
firm and business alike, because moral itself give us the boost during our work time, like
when I receive the moral support since the first time I work here I cant adapt really well
here.

Legal System

This Industrial training give me the experience regarding the law system first hand,
where I go into the courts itself to see the procedure of hearing and mediation of a case.
