YOUTH ALIVE!

Report for July 2015

Moving Forward is our theme
for the month of July. We assigned
some Y.A. Leaders to speak to the
youth. Ms. Tennie Shade shared
about Finish the Race. Mr.
Solomon Frane talked about
Excuses We Make Why We Cant
Change Ourselves.
During our first 3 weeks, we had
a total of 112 young people
attendees from the community and
from IFL for our Fellowship, which
we have at 6 to 8pm on Fridays. We
had a great time together in
praising and worshiping God,
playing different games, eating,
and listening to the word of God.

Our former Y.A. members, Jolina

Algire, Angelica Algire and Jewel Largo,
who are now college students were
given a chance to testify about how they
miss the fellowship so much and feel
that they still belong in the family of Y.A.
Now, despite of their busy schedules as
students, God is using them in their
campuses to share the word of God to
their classmates.
As a result, we could see that God is
still moving in the lives of our young
people. We know and believe that God
will use them mightily in their
generation. And as leaders, it is our duty
to train, disciple and lead them to the
Lord.
To God be the Glory!!!

As part of our monthly planned program, we have what we call Movie Time.
Instead of the usual praise and worship, games, and speaker, the only agenda is to
relax and enjoy snacks while watching a Christian movie entitled When the Game
Stands Tall. This movie taught the young people on how to be humble in all
circumstances and whatever position they have, to follow leaders, listen to the
instructions given, be accountable to their teammates, and work together as a TEAM.
After the movie, we grouped them into eight (8) for our group discussion for at
least 15 minutes. After that, we had a question and answer about the lesson learned
in the movie then have a short talk.
During our film showing, many new young people attended and the number of
attendees increased to 130 young people and had been blessed for what God did that
night. We started exactly at 6pm and finished at 9pm at the IFL Sanctuary.

Our last fellowship for the month of July was so

powerful! This time, we held our Youth Allive! Fellowship
at the school quadrangle. We prepared special lights to
make our space more attractive like a concert. During
our praise and worship, God moved mightily in the lives
of our young people who responded to His presence by
giving Him all the glory for what He has done. After that,
we also had a special presentation from the youth
leaders led by Mr. Christian Reyes.
During our testimony time, our young people were
surprised by the arrival of Mrs. Melanie Rodriquez, our
former Youth Pastor and Worship Leader. She quickly
went up to the front and testified about Gods
faithfulness in her life and in her family and how she
really missed the Y.A. Fellowship so much. Because of
that, she led the youth in one praise song entitled,
Deep Cries Out. Everyone was so happy and blessed by
her testimony and having her with us for a period of
time.
The night was even more special because our
beloved Tita Pat spoke to us on Our Personal
Relationship with Christ and realizing the importance of
sharing Christ to our family, relatives, friends and
classmates. The youth actively participated during the
message and a number accepted Christ as their personal
Lord and Savior. They went home blessed and happy for
what the Lord had done at that time.
