Each person has four good directions that
each brings a different kind of auspicious luck.
The following is the explanation of each of the
lucky directions.

SHENG CHI (Wealth)

This is your most auspicious

direction. It signifies the location and
direction that brings wealth, success and
prosperity luck. In Chinese, this is known as
the Sheng Chi direction, which attracts wealth
luck. Sheng in Chinese means growth. Chi is energy.
So this is growth energy. This is the most auspicious
direction. It signifies the place and direction that attracts wealth
and prosperity.
In an ideal situation, this should correspond to the entrance of
your house or apartment building. Use your Sheng Chi direction
to tap success luck. This direction promises excellent feng
shui and a life filled with great abundance and happiness. You
should endeavour to face this direction when you are working,
negotiating a deal or giving a presentation, having a job
interview or just working on some important project on your
computer. Orientate your desk so you sit facing your Sheng
Chi direction when you work; this ensures that the energy that

TIEN YI (Health)

The second auspicious direction you can tap is for good health luck. This is known as the Tien

luck. Longevity means to be saved from premature death. You stay healthy and are protected

development luck. It is also known as the Wisdom direction. Face this
direction when you need help thinking more clearly when you are doing
any written work. The Fu Wei direction enhances your personal abilities
and is thus a very suitable direction for executives and managers to
face when seated at their desks at work.
This is also a suitable direction for students to face.
School children and those pursuing educational
programs will benefit from this area of the house. This
is also a very good direction if you are indulging in
meditation or creative visualization, or if you are just in
a yoga posture or want to relax. The Fu Wei direction
enhances personal abilities and is therefore very
suitable for young executives and managers who are
still trying to make it in the world, and trying to
make sense of what is happening in their lives.

NIEN YEN (Love)

or living room. It

Nien Yen direction always
has connotations of romance
that leads to marriage. This is

romance. Facing your Nien Yen promotes
goodwill, tolerance and harmonious
relationships. If you are looking for marriage
or you are already married and want to
have good family harmony, then this is
the direction that is the best to tap. Try to

direction of the wife, but for family harmony,

There are also four unlucky directions that you need

to take note of. Each of the four bad directions brings
different kinds of inauspicious luck. The following is
an explanation of each of the unlucky directions:

HO HAI (Bad Luck)

This direction brings mild bad luck. It is translated as accident and mishaps. This is a
direction which leads to misfortune, but not the kind that spells the end of everything. If you
face your Ho Hai direction, you might meet with an accident, get struck down with illness, or
get blamed when something goes wrong. This is the least bad of the four unlucky directions.

WU KUEI (5 Ghosts)

This is translated as the Five Ghost direction. This is the second mildest of the four bad
directions and if the main door of your house faces this direction, you could have trouble
keeping your employees or working well with others. You could suffer from mishaps like fire
and burglary, and in severe cases, your youngest child could get hurt. When the important
sectors within your home are located in your Wu Kuei location, quarrels are bound to erupt
within the household and it is unlikely that you can enjoy a peaceful environment at home or
at work. The Wu Kuei direction also brings troublesome people into your life who will cause
a lot of problems. It would be better for you to have the kitchen stove located in the Wu Kuei
sector of your home. Avoid having the main living area or the bedroom located in your Wu
Kuei sector.

LIU SHA (6 Killings)

After Chueh Ming, this is the next worst direction, which can cause grievous harm to the
family and to the family business. There will be legal problems in business, family members
will constantly fall ill and there could even be death. Six types of misfortune will befall
you if you face your Liu Sha direction. The six types of misfortune include illness, death,
loss of good name, loss of wealth and loss of descendants. Misfortune in many different

CHUEH MING (Total Loss)

This is the very worst direction for you. It signifies total loss. If you are the

in your life will tend to go wrong. You could lose all your
