Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor
Ron, and his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I
believe Your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey
my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the
earth. I will tell how great You are and how much I love You. I thank You
that by Jesus stripes I am healed.
In Jesus name, Amen

God is everywhere, but only those who seek Him with all their heart
will know where He is and what He is saying.

Jeremiah 29:13, And you shall seek Me, and find Me, when you seek
Me with all your heart.

God is everywhere, but there are times when we may feel like
He is closer to us than at other times. The times when it feels
like He is really right there in the room with us are very special
times with God. In the Bible this is called the manifest
presence of God. Why does it seem like some people know
God better than others? Sometimes it seems that God comes
to talk to us and we dont stop living in the world long enough
to listen to what He is saying. Jacob was such a man; he did
things his own way until he had made such a mess of his life
that he was desperate for help. It was then that God visited
him and Jacob recognized that He had to have God in his
life; he needed Gods help and Gods direction. In fact, at their
meeting, Jacob would not let go of God and God saw Jacobs
deep desire to have His help and guidance. It is not how strong
or smart or pretty you are that matters to God. He just wants
to know how much you want Him.
Is your heart tender enough that the eye of God can guide you
and make you realize when you are sinning? Most of the time
moms and dads dont need to say anything to let you know that
they dont like what you are doing. It only takes a look from
them for you to change your behavior. One way that God will
lead and guide us is by giving us a feeling on the inside in our
spirit. This is called the inward witness. The Holy Spirit lives
in Christians to help them and the more we take time to listen
out for and feel His directions, the more we see proof of His
guidance and help. In Acts 2:17, God promised to pour out His
Spirit on all flesh. To receive this promise of the Spirit we must
tap into Gods presence by taking time to listen to our Spirit
man. We chase and reach out to Him by worshipping,
repenting, and being in a place where our hearts are broken
before Him, ready to know His plans for us and change our
plans to match His plans.
