Relocated to New York to partner with the newly acquired Coffee Americas and General Cocoa trading desk to
smooth transition.
Directed all Sucden Americas Corp hedging, via futures, options and derivatives.
Managed supply of cocoa beans and products to customers including Blommer, ADM, Nestl, Cargill and Barry
Callebaut.
2012 2014
Recruited to set up and lead a new cocoa trading desk for Sucden Americas Corp in Miami, focused on US
chocolate manufacturers.
Drove trading for all cocoa to the Americas, including group cocoa from West Africa, as well as sourcing and
marketing grades from Latin America.
Managed P&L and worked directly with CFO on financing, insurance, back office operations etc.

processors and small farm producers.
Consultant for Chemonics/USAID. Travelled extensively through Perus cocoa producing regions to analyze
domestic cocoa production and usage and to provide marketing assistance to the countrys farmer
associations and co-ops.
Consultant for Prodel/AED in Ecuador. Advised the countrys cocoa producers on ways to gain a foothold in
the US cocoa market.
Consulted with South American cocoa farmers on methods to increase yields and achieve higher prices for
their product.
Noble Group, Stamford, CT Company manages a portfolio of global supply chains covering a range of agricultural and energy

Professional Activities
Partner Cimarron Cocoa Estates, a 35-hectare cocoa plantation in Sacha, Ecuador. Cimarron was contracted by
the provincial government of Orlleana to supply 1,500,000 Sacha Gold super trees over a three-year period, and set
up and run farmer fields schools with Blommer Chocolate Company.
