Our process

ClearSpan, the one-stop shop

Unlike other fabric structure companies, ClearSpan sells directly to our customers.
Youll find our process is well organized, efficient and customer focused, earning
us many happy, repeat customers over the years.
When working with ClearSpan, you will have
the chance to interact with one of our
Truss Arch specialists, a highly qualified
and experienced team member who will act
as your representative throughout the
entire purchasing process. They will help
you identify your needs and goals, and
then see to it that these are met according
to your respective customizations
and specifications.

ClearSpan structures are developed by

skilled engineers who transform your
specifications into a cohesive plan. Our
engineers use sophisticated design
software to create the perfect frame, which
is then adjusted to fit building code, wind
and snow load requirements. Once you have
worked through the design with us,
we are happy to provide engineered
stamped drawings for your records.

Can be retrofitted to
existing structures.

Our manufacturing team is responsible for

turning your Hercules Truss Arch Building
from a drawing to reality. They ensure that
all structures meet the highest level of
quality, following the engineers
calculations and design specifications.
The steel team custom cuts, bends and
welds steel tubing into the trusses that will
make up your frame, which is then outfitted
with a precision-cut fabric cover. The fabric
team carefully lines up the fabric by the
proper angle and heat-seals it for
durability. Once the manufacturing
process is complete, all components are
safely packaged and readied for shipping.

Welding trusses inside our manufacturing facility in Dyersville, IA

Since we are a manufacturing company ourselves, we know what is important

and necessary for a thriving manufacturing facility. We believe in the
quality of our fabric structures so much that we manufacture in our own
Hercules Truss Arch Buildings. Much of our success is contributed to utilizing our
fabric structures.

Add a mezzanine to increase usable

space within the same footprint.

Bright interiors make production safer

and more efficient.

Keep materials safe, dry and out of

the elements.

Multiple bays can accommodate our

shipping and receiving needs.

boat maintenance and storage

From large vessel storage to paint booths, there are several factors that must be
met when it comes to boat maintenance and storage facilities. ClearSpan covers
each requirement needed for safe and easy boat accommodations.
Extraordinary height and clearance

With no internal support columns to

interfere with vessels, machinery or
laborers, ClearSpan Fabric Structures
offer maximum usable space and ease
of movement.

Resistant to harsh marine elements

ClearSpan buildings are built with the

strongest USA-made, triple-galvanized
structural steel and 12.5 oz.
rip-stop polyethylene fabric and are
designed to withstand any local wind or
snow-load requirements.
ClearSpans steel has gone through
a state-of-theart process that provides
long-lasting corrosion and
rust protection.

Low energy costs

Abundant sunlight filters through

ClearSpans fabric covers eliminating the
need for daytime artificial lighting.
Their natural ventilation system provides
a dehumidified environment, stopping
moisture, mold and bacteria buildup.
ClearSpan structures maintain interior
temperatures of 15 to 20 cooler in
summer and 15 to 20 warmer in winter.

Easy to relocate or expand

If relocating to a different marina is

needed, ClearSpan Fabric Structures
can be disassembled, moved and
reassembled quickly and with ease.
When the time comes to buy a bigger
boat, or your needs change, ClearSpan
buildings are expandable with little
additional cost.
