OVERVIEW: Small port catering primarily for cruise and pleasure craft.
LOCATION: In Monaco, SE of France, close to the Italian border.
CHARTS: BA Charts No. 149 and 2167.
PORT LIMITS: The seaward boundaries of the port commence by the
two breakwaters at the eastern entrance.

ISPS COMPLIANCE: Port is compliant.

MAX. SIZE: Length 135 m., draft 8.0 m.
RESTRICTIONS: Stern to the pier on the west side or alongside the
North Quay, only from October to March and with eight days notice.
PILOTAGE: Compulsory for all vessels over LOA 30 m.
Pilot boards vessels 0.3 miles east of the harbour entrance.
Pilot boat is a small white boat with a black Pilote painted on the side
of the cabin.

0800 2000 between 1 October and 30 April.
Pilot works on Channel 12.
ANCHORAGES: One half mile east of the southern breakwater
lighthouse. Depth at the anchorage 68.0 m.
PRATIQUE: Health Declaration must be handed to the Customs. If coming
from neighbouring countries (France, Italy, Spain) not requested.
PRE-ARRIVAL INFORMATION: ETA must be advised within range
via Monaco Radio on Channels 16 and 12.
VHF: Monaco Radio. Tel: +377 (93) 301313, listens on Channel 16. Port
Operations work on Channel 12. Public telephone calls on Channels 20, 22,
28 and 86.
VTS/RADAR: No port radar service.
TUGS: One tug boat 1,000 h.p. with notice.
BERTHING: All three quays plus inner sides of the breakwaters and
western T pier are available for mooring yachts stern to. West Pier draft
8.0 m. North Quay 7.0 m.
The port may be congested during the summer season. Anchoring off the
dock is possible.

CRANES: 110 tonne mobile crane.
POLLUTION: It is strictly forbidden for any ship to throw overboard into
the sea or into the port the following:
any hydrocarbon, pure or mixed
any waste, floating or not
any material likely to endanger marine life or flora or that could be
harmful for human health.
Vessels fitted with holding tanks must empty them only between
0700 0900 hrs. into containers provided by specialised contractors. In the
event of pollution, please immediately alert the Police Maritime and Port
Authority.
WASTE DISPOSAL: Every vessel must use sealable plastic bags for
rubbish and refuse. These bags must be deposited every morning before
0800 hrs. in the rubbish bins on the quay.
MEDICAL: There is a state hospital fully equipped for surgery, etc.
FRESH WATER: Can be supplied at all berths alongside the quay. If
vessel on roads, water may be provided by barge up to 500 tons per day,

FUEL: There is a fuel berth in SW area of port for ships up to LOA 24.3 m.
Bunkers are available on the quay by truck but no heavy fuel available.
SERVICES: Engine repairs. Electronics. Maintenance for yachts. 220 volts
available at all berths. TV aerial sockets at all berths free of charge.
NEAREST DRY DOCK: 1100 ton, 140 ton and 110 ton slipways.
