Significance of the Study

This research study is important to evaluate which between the two types of
strategies applied by the proffers of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasay College of Nursing
ad School of Midwifery is the most effective for this students learning. After conducting
a qualitative evaluation of the selected research data, the professors will now be more
aware on what teaching strategies they will utilize to enhance learning capacity and skills
of their students.

To the Professors

Through the study’s recommendation, they will be able to enhance their teaching
capabilities and will be able to incorporate new teaching strategies upon discussing a
subject matter.

To the Students

Through the study’s recommendation, the student’s learning will be able to


improve. They will be more attentive and cooperative in the class. They will be able to
have a good working relationship with their professor.

To the College

Through the study’s recommendation, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasay-CONM


will be able to produce more competitive, efficient and productive students in the years to
come. Furthermore, quality of education will be uplifted.

To the Institution

Through the study’s recommendation, they will be able to implement new


memorandum in relation to the quality of teaching through utilization of traditional and
modern teaching strategies.

Hypothesis

• There is a relationship on the teaching strategy applied by the professors in


relation to the students’ preferences.
Assumptions

1. Using of Modernized teaching equipments will be more attractive to the


students but it requires financial expenditure and for some it is expensive.

2. Old school teaching methods makes the students uninterested with the
discussion.

3. Student report requires more time, effort and information but it can
enhance the student’s interpersonal skills.

4. Professors who give hand-outs will affect the student’s study habits and
will make them lazy.

5. The professors who has a great sense of humor makes the students more
attentive, cooperative and interested with the class discussion.
