LAKEVIEW FAMILY CAMP
IS CELEBRATING ITS 50TH
ANNIVERSARY
Members of our church have been going to this campground since 1975 (35 years).
Last years lots were reserved for the weekend of July 23—25 of this year. If you
have a tent, pop-up, travel trailer, 5th wheel or motor home, we can find a spot for
you. If you don’t camp, you can stay in a nearby motel and enjoy the activities dur-
ing the day and evening. Activities include: boating, fishing, swimming, sports of
all kinds, Belgium horse-drawn hay rides, fresh baked Amish goods, trips to the
Amish cheese factory, potluck supper, campfires, singing, fellowship, Saturday
vespers & Sunday morning worship service at the lake, etc. The campground is lo-
cated approximately 100 miles northwest of our church. Those of us who go every
year would love to have new families come and enjoy this special event
with us. If you are interested in going or have any questions, please call
Jerry and Genny Flanary at 810-635-7297. The fee for the weekend is
$40.00 and is due upon sign-up. Please make checks payable to “United
Methodist Camp Fund” with Lakeview on the memo line.
