Congressional Inquiry Issued Regarding Refusal of Glenn Fine, Inspector General, to

Respond on Complaints against Senior US Dept of Justice Officers

Glenn A Fine, Inspector General, US Dept of Justice

In March 2, 2010 letter, Dr Joseph Zernik, Los Angeles resident, again requested Inspector General of US
Department of Justice to respond on complaints against two senior officers of the US Department of Justice –
Kenneth Melson – Director of US Office of Attorney General, and Kenneth Kaiser – Assistant Director of FBI for
Criminal Investigations, alleging fraud by Melson and Kaiser on US Congress. [1] Refusal of Glenn A Fine,
Inspector General of US Department of Justice to respond on such complaints was the subject of inquiry by US
Congress – the Hon Dianne Feinstein, Senator, on the US Department of Justice, noticed in a letter dated February
26, 2010, by the office of Senator Feinstein to Zernik. [2]

Dr Zernik’s complaints to originally filed November 23, 2009, and re-faxed December 2, 2009, stated:

“Please investigate the conduct of Kenneth Melson and Kenneth Kaiser in false and deliberately
misleading responses that they provided on this matter to U.S. Congress last year, and ongoing refusal of
the U.S. DOJ to restore integrity of the Justice System in LA County, California, in view of overwhelming
evidence of widespread corruption.”

The complaint referred to response letters provided in August-September 2008 by the two senior officers to
inquiries by United States Congress – the Honorable Dianne Feinstein, Senator, and the Honorable Diane Watson,
Congresswoman.
