The group decided to establish a Pinoy dessert shop. The shop is typically sweet Pinoy
course that includes traditional Pinoy merienda. The researchers want to patronize the
Filipino delicacies, give a new flavor of it and make it more enjoyable. So as Philippines,
having a rich culture especially in foods its easy for the researchers to put up an idea that
can elevate our own delicacies into something that the customers can love and be proud of.
The shop does not only emphasize on its desserts but also, it highlights the value of being
together as a family and with love ones. The shop embodies that the products will helps to
strengthen the bond, chill vibes between the customers.
b. Description
The researchers named the venture as Juan Desserts The group adopted the name from
the desserts food and service that will be offered to the customers. They made it more
traditional for the customers to have an idea that once they hear the name of the shop they
can easily know that the shop is offering Pinoy desserts. The group decided to put the Juan
Desserts: in Kamuning Road, Quezon City. Brgy. Kamuning is one of the most well-known
barangays because of the establishments around it since there are many trademarks
around the area which makes it a good location to put a dessert shop to have as many
customers as possible which is a benefit for the Juan Desserts. The specialties of Juan
Desserts are the following:

a. Reason
Our group decided to choose this kind of venture because we believe that everyone love foods,
and we all know that food is necessity to everybody. Filipino also prefers sweet and tasty food
thats why we know that this business would be preferable for them. Lastly, Filipino desserts
were not so popular, so we want to establish a good image about Filipino foods by upgrading its
level to a whole new one for it to be known worldwide.
b. Justification
Our group believes that this would be a good business venture to pursue because nowadays,
people tend to be a health-concious one so we include healthy foods such as turon and banana
que which is the main ingredient is banana that is high in vitamins and potassium to help boost
energy. The ingredients and raw products that well be using were very accessible and easy to
look for.
Target Market
a. Who
The target markets of our business are families and group of people like the students in
Quezon City High school, Kamuning Elementary School and employees around the area.
The ages of our target market ranges from 6 and above.
