Bangalore University has launched new courses since 2005 in the field of Disability and
rehabilitation .Directorate of Correspondence Courses & Distance Education in
collaboration with CBR Network(South Asia) invites applications for Community based
Rehabilitation Courses for the Academic Year 2009-10 offered through distance mode.

(Note: CBR NETWORK would assist you by preparing correct DDs as the previous
experience shows many mistakes are made while preparation of DDs causing
unnecessary delays in admission. You can send one DD or Cheque in favor of CBR
NETWORK for the total fee and add Rs 35 towards DDs charges)

Fee should be paid by two separate Demand draft is payable to Finance Officer,

(It is important to prepare correct DDs. Name, course for which applied address, phone
number should be written on the backside of each DD. If students have difficulty in the

Fee for International Students:

International students will have to pay the fees as follows: For more information contact

a. Students from SAARC region-Four times the Indian fee
b. Other foreign students-Ten times the Indian fee

• Working Knowledge in computer is desirable
• Students will receive self-learning materials consisting of CDs and printed study
material
• The material is available in English. Certificate courses materials is available in
Kannada
• Students can study according to their convenience. The student should complete
all the modules within three successive annual examinations conducted by
Bangalore University. If the student fails to successfully complete all modules
within three year, the student will have to re-register for the course.
• Students should submit practical record for each module duly certified by the
supervisors in the designated study centers
• Theories examinations will be conducted online in the designated examination
centers and consist of objective type of questions.
Note: Students registering for PG Diploma and Diploma need not pay the course
fee for the certificate programmes. However they need to pay examination fees
for the certificate courses.

E-mail to cbrnet@vsnl.com. Such downloaded applications should be accompanied with a
Demand Draft of Rs.200/- drawn in favor of “Finance Officer, Bangalore University,
Bangalore” payable at Bangalore towards the Application fee without which the
application will be rejected. Application form and other details can be obtained at CBR

Candidates desiring to obtain the Application and Prospectus shall send a self
addressed envelope of 30/20 cm size affixing postal stamp worth of Rs. 75/- so as to
reach on or before the due date with Demand draft of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of “
Finance Office Bangalore University , Bangalore”. Towards the application fee
mentioning the course for which the application is required.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATESFOR ONLINE EXAMINATIONS

1. 1. The URL that will give the exam needs to be entered in the browser.
2. 2. Student has to click on “start” button in the opening screen to start the
exam.
3. 3. In the second screen student has to choose the exam and enter the
hall ticket number to start the exam. Only exams falling on that date will be
displayed for the student. If the student has to give two papers on that
day, they have to choose the correct paper for writing the exam in morning
and afternoon sessions
4. 4. In the next screen the first question will be displayed, using next,
previous buttons on the screen students can freely navigate through
questions
 5. 5. Once student has finished answering all questions, he/she should
confirm in the last screen that “test over submit the details”. Then the
details will be stored in the database along with the result.

MALPRACTICE
7. Candidates are prohibited from bringing into the Examination room any book
or portion of a book, slate, manuscript or paper of any description from
communicating or copying from each other and from communicating with any
person outside the Examination Room. Any candidate detected in the violation of
these rules should be sent out of the Room forthwith. Such candidates will not be
permitted to take the subsequent papers of the Examination and they are liable
to be debarred from the Examination for a period of not less than 2 years.
8. Candidates are forbidden to write to Examiners.
