Product Description
The absorbed dose necessary to obtain a medical X-ray image with sufficient signal-to-noise ratio varies with
object composition, thickness, and X-ray energy spectrum.
The positive effects of energy filtering to optimize the spectrum were observed already at the advent of
medical X-ray imaging.
It was noted that putting a thin layer of material, such as a piece of silicon cupper, drastically improves the Xray medical image.
Absorption filtering is still the dominant method to filter out low-energy photons, often in combination with a
limited X-ray tube acceleration voltage to cut off photons of higher energy.

X-Pack is a complete package of components for an X-ray system

preconfigured and adjusted. Not only the interfacing of all components

X-Pack is available for Bucky sy stems, RF-sy stems, surgery sy stems as
well as special applications (e.g. Lithotripsy sy stems) from 3.5 kW to 80
kW and from 9 Image Intensifiers to Flat Panel Detectors.
Bucky|Rntgen is a readymade system solution, including design,
documentation and certification.
X-Pack Flat Upgrade a retrofit kit for easy upgrade of an analogue
sy stem to digital.
