Are you new(er) to
Memorial? Are you
a member who has been away for a long tie but recently
came back? Join us Monday, September 28th from
6:00 pm 8:15 pm for our next Welcome to Memorial
class. We will serve a complimentary light dinner and
provide free childcare as well. This is a great way to meet
other new folks, find out how to plug in here at MLC, hear
from church leaders about our vision and mission, and
find out about our exciting plans for the new preschool
building! Mark your calendar and RSVP with Pastor

Were getting ready for a
new school year and that
means we can use some
extra hands. Interested?
Call April Ramsey if you
are interested in:
1st and 2nd Grade Teachers Help little ones learn how
much Jesus loves them through songs and stories.
Pre-school Assistants - be an extra set of hands to assist
the lead teacher with some of our youngest disciples. No
prep required during the week, just your presence and role
modeling on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30am
Nursery Volunteers - Because we want our high school
youth to attend Sunday School classes, were looking for
adults during the school year to be in the Nursery with
toddlers and babies from 9:30-10:30 am on a rotating
basis. This means you can work just one or two weeks a
month and still be able attend Adult Bible Study other
weeks.

Bring your kids for

meet-ups every
Wednesday
morning through
September from
9:30 11:00 am in the Loomis Center! Bring a few toys
to share for the morning if you can. Well have a short
devotion and discussion topic each week as well as a
snack for the kids! We will also continue meeting the 1st
and 3rd Saturday mornings from 9:30 -11:0 am at the
Westgreen Park playground including a snack for the
kids! We hope you can join us!

we can find commonality in fellowship with other
mothers, give our children fellowship with one another,
and be a place of joy, comfort, affirmation, and
encouragement for all who are here.

If youve been looking for a way to help in some way with
activities around MLC but didnt know whats available,
please prayerfully consider one of the following and let
April Ramsey know youll help. Weve had several new
volunteers sign up but we can sure use a bunch more!

Wednesday Sound/Powerpoint Persons: This role is
needed from 6:15-7:15 pm every Wednesday the more
volunteers, the better!). Youll be trained in how to turn
the sound and PowerPoint equipment on and off , how to
adjust them as needed and how to run the slides during
our Wednesday Praise and Worship time. Youll also help
play the slides and videos during worship to set the
atmosphere. Worship time is from 6:30-7:00 pm but the
little bit of extra time before and after is needed for set-up
and shut-down.
Wednesday Night Crew Helpers: Elementary Crew
leaders are needed to rotate with the kids. No prep is
required - just your presence and a love for kids
and Christ.

Wednesday Night Cooking Team: I need volunteers to

help prep/serve meals on Wednesday nights typical
commitment s from 4:30-7pm though times can be
adjusted based on needs for prep work.

CALLING ALL SINGERS

You know who you are! You're
the ones who enjoy singing his
praises whether you can read
music or not... and we would love
to have you join one or more of
our choral groups. Praisemakers (adult choir) meet on
Wednesday evenings from 7:15 - 8:15PM starting Aug
26. We have a wonderful hour of mid-week fellowship
and praise with music. Men's Chorus meets on noncommunion Sunday mornings (2nd, 4th & 5th Sundays)
from 9:15 - 9:30AM starting Aug 30. If you have any
questions, or you're interested but have reservations,
