Completion of keyboarding Lessons 1-20 is required. During the last week of class, three-minute timed writes
will be administered by the instructor during the class hour. The timing grade is based on these in-class
writings. The student’s grade is based upon the following:
SCHEDULE CHECKS:
Each of the 5 schedule checks are worth 4% of your grade (see your assignment sheet for check off dates).
TECHNIQUE:
You will be graded on the typing technique you demonstrate throughout the class. Your technique will be
observed by your instructor three different times on randomly selected occasions. In order to receive a grade
for that observation, you must be in class. If you are absent on an observation day, you will receive “0” for that
portion of your grade (see your assignment sheet for technique form).
