Fortheenrolmentofundereighteensthewrittenauthorizationoftheparentsisneeded.
Toeffectenrolmentanenrolmentformmustbecompletedandsentbyfax,postoremailtothecentralofficeinPisa,withthe
receiptoftheasvancepaymentrequested.
Theadvancepaymentistheequivalentof30%ofthetotalpriceofthecoursechosen,plus70euroenrolmentfee

OnreceiptoftheadvancepaymenttheSecretaryinPisawillconfirmtheenrolmentandatthesametimetransmitthethe
addressoftheaccommodation.
Thebalancemustbepaidonthedayofthecourseentrytest.
Anybankchargesmustbepaiddirectlytotheschoolwiththebalance.

Thelessons
-

ThelessonstakeplacefromMondaytoFridayanddonottakeplaceonpublicholidaysoftheItaliancalendar.Lessonsmissed
forholidayswillbemadeup.
Onthedayoftheentrytestlessonsarenotheld.
Theabsolutebeginnersmustbeginthecourseonthedatesindicatedonthecalendarofthecourses.
Ifthenumberofenrolmentsmakesitnecessary,thelessonswillbeheldintheafternoon.
Intherarecasesinwhich,aftertheentrytest,thereisonlyonestudentinaclass,the4hoursofgrouplessonswillbeconverted
into2hoursofindivi2,54duallessons.If,ontheotherhand,thereare2or3studentsthe4grouplessonswillbereducedto1
hour(3lessonsinsteadof4)inconsiderationofthefactthatlessonsinsuchsmallgroupsaremoreintensive.
TheschoolreservestherighttoturnGBclassesintoMIclasseswiththreeindividuallessonsperweekincasethatthenumber
ofgroupstudentsislesserthanthree.

Cancellation
-

Ifacancellationiscommunicatedwithin30daysofthebeginningofthecourse,theadvancepaymentwillberefundedminus
bankorpostalcharges,iflessthan30days,theadvancepaymentwillbewithheld.
Oncethecoursehasbegun,norefundismade,eitherfordiscontinuousattendanceofthelessons,orforabandonmentofthe
course.Ifthecourseisabandonedforreasonsbeyondthecontrolofthestudent,thereisthepossibilityofreceivingavoucher,
tobeusedwithin12months.
Thepaymentforthecourseisnottransferabletoanotherperson.

Visaforpurposesofstudy
Studentsfromcountrieswhereavisaisrequiredforpurposesofstudycanobtainacertificateofenrolmentinourcourseswhichcan
thenbepresentedtotheappropriateauthorities.Inthiscasetheentirecostofthecourse,forwhichtheywillreceivethecertificate
andaninvoice,mustbepaidinadvance.Ifthestudentdoesnotobtainthevisa,he/shemustinformtheschoolinwritingenclosinga
documentthattestifiestherefusaloftheauthoritiesoralltheoriginaldocumentsreceivedbytheschool..Inthiscasetheschoolwill
refundtheentiresumpaidforthecourse,afterdeductionofpostalorbankcharges,minustheenrolmentfeeof70euro.
Aftertheissueofthecertificate,itisnolongerpossibletoobtainacancellationorchangeofdateswithoutreturningtheoriginal
enrolmentcertificate.
Oncethevisahasbeenobtained,intheeventofnonattendanceofthecoursearefundwillnotbegiven.Inthecaseofserious
reasonsitwillbepossibletohaveavoucherthatcanbeusedbyanotherpersonandisvalidfor12monthsfromthedateofissue.
Theexpensesforsendingthecertificatebycourierorexpresspostarebornbythestudent.TheIstitutoLinguisticoMediterraneowill
communicatetotheappropriateauthoritiesthenameofthestudents,forwhomthecertificatehasbeenissuedfortheapplicationfor
theVisa,whohavebeenabsentfromlessonsformorethan2dayswithoutinformingtheSecretary.

Accommodation
-

Theserviceofreservationofaccommodationisfreeofchargeandtheschoolisnotresponsiblefortherelationsbetweenthe
studentandtheowner.
Paymentoftheoutstandingamountforthebalancetheaccommodationbookedbytheschoolmustbemadewithintwodaysof
arrival
Ifthestudentdecidestochangeaccommodation,he/shemustinformtheowneratleast2weeksinadvance.Thesetwoweeks
mustinanycasebepaid.
Thecostsofanydamagecausedtotheaccommodationmustbereimburseddirectlytotheowner.
Intheaccommodationbookedbytheschool,studentsmustbehaveinsuchawayasnottodisturbneighboursoranycotenants.
Thebookingoftheaccommodationisstrictlypersonalandthepresenceofguestsmustbenegotiateddirectlywiththeowner.

Insurance
Studentsarecoveredbyinsuranceonlyinsidetheschool.Wethereforeadvisestudentstotakeoutinsurancebeforeleavingtheir
countryoforigin.

Photoandvideo

theschoolreservestherighttousephotoorvideorecordingtakenduringthecourseorthefreetimeactivitiesforpromotional
purposesonly.
Ifthestudentdoesnotagreewiththepublicationofthismaterial,youmustlettheschoolknowinwritingwithinamonthfromthe
photoorvideorecording.
Thismaterialhasnocommercialvalueanddonotconstituteacontractualagreement.
