There are many definitions of entrepreneurship that was explained by many
experts. In this assignment, definitions of entrepreneurship is written as many as 20 definitions. These are: 1. Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) In according to KBBI, entrepreneurship is a talent to recognize new product, how to produce that, how to marketing, and organize the operations. 2. Soeparman Spemahamidjaja Still from Indonesia, according to Soeparman Spemahamidjaja, entrepreneurship is ability to think more creative and make innovations as basic, resource, strategy, and process in face the life challenges. 3. Arif F. Hadipranata Entrepreneur is a risk taker, it means that entrepreneurship is capability to take many risks to organize and manage business and financial, nonfinancial benefits. 4. Entrepreneurship Center at Miami University of Ohio Entrepreneurship is considered as process to identify, develop, and bring innovation, possibility to life and the result is new business that is created in uncertainty and risk condition. 5. Steinhoff and John F. Burgess (1993) Entrepreneurship is mental attitude, knowledge, and behavior to many tasks that becomed his/her responsibility and always oriented to customers. 6. Richard Cantillon He said that entrepreneurship is ability to convert economical resources from low productivity level to higher productivity. 7. Kasmir (2006) In according to Kasmir, he said that entrepreneurship is courage to take risk to build business in many opportunity. 8. Harvey Leibenstein In 1968 and 1979, Harvey Leibenstein confronted that entrepreneurship is activity to create and execute the company when in the same time, all markets is not built yet or all production components is unknown yet. 9. Soeharto Prawiro Entrepreneurship is a value needed starts up and grow the business. It was said in 1997. 10. Robbin and Coulter A process of organized effort that is used by a individu or groups in to find opprtunities in value created by fulfill the needs and do not care what resources is controlled now.

According to Frank Knight in 1921, entrepreneur must have ability to predict market change. So that, entrepreneurship is skill to face the uncertainty of market change and can do managerial functions. 12. Penrose (1963) Entrepreneurship activity is identification of many opportunity in economy system. 13. Jean Baptista Say (1816) He said that entrepreneurship is talent to unite any production equipments and find the value of the productions. 14. A. Pekerti Entrepreneurship is respond to business opportunity in behavior set that produce output, that is productive and innovative organization. 15. Edvardson Entrepreneurship is strategies think and courage to take risks. The result will be given to individual and organization. 16. Stevenson He said that entrepreneurship is utilization of many available opportunities without ignore their resources. 17. Prawirokusumo Entrepreneurship is owned by people do creative and innovative effort to find the occasions and life improvement. 18. Hartati and Saidi She said that entrepreneurship is process to create new things and use time, take risk, receive moneter retaine, satisfaction, and private authorship. 19. S. Wijandi Entrepreneurship is courageness in take risk that is based on self capability. 20. Inpres no. 4/1995 Enthusiasm and skill in handle business that is oriented to work methods and new product in increase efficiency and give better services and higher benefit.
