CLINICAL AFFAIRS
Unless theres urgent information, expect clinical updates on the google drive and in the
newsletter every Sunday!
IMPORTANT: It is absolutely crucial to read the syllabus for all departments. There
are MANY details that cannot be explicitly outlined by clinical affair reps and it is your
responsibility to make sure you understand all requirements. Although it may seem

overwhelming, being able to understand the syllabus is crucial to ensuring your success
in clinic. This was a BIG tip from all faculty and upperclassmen because last year many
students struggled at the end of the year to complete requirements they were not aware
of. At this time, exams pile up so its not the best time to spend off sessions trying to
complete requirements.
ALL formatives are now to be done on axium. Anything that was done over the summer
can be submitted directly to your GPD. Remember, you need to complete one class II
and one class III formatives this year.
Axium will now automatically confirm all patients with the correct email/phone number.
Make sure to update your patient information during appointments.
You can start clinic off-session starting September 1st. Heres the protocol:

Happy birthday to all the September babies!
This months Virgo horoscope: Everything is getting better and better each day! Your life is on
the upswing at last, Virgoand you've weathered some stormy seas to get here. On August 11,
lucky and expansive Jupiter entered Virgo for the first time since 2004, kicking off a 13-month
cycle of reinvention and renewed energyalong with a fresh 12-year chapter of your life. The
past year may not have been bad, but it was hazy and unfocused, with a lot of ideas bubbling
under the surface, or personal projects marinating in the Virgo slow cooker. Now, it's time for
your debut.
