Jesus (Peace be upon him)

between Islam and Christianity

In Islam:
We as Muslims believe that Jesus (Peace be upon
him) was a righteous prophet sent from God, we
totally respect him because he is a messenger and if
any Muslim insulted him or disbelieved in him he is
not considered a Muslim, he is one of the 5 highest
rank prophets chosen by God who are: Noah,
Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (Peace be
upon them) , so we totally believe in him and believe
in his miraculous creating from no father.
59. Surely the case of Jesus is like the case of Adam.
HE created him out of dust, then he said to him, "Be',
and he was.( Holy Quran 3:59)
285. This Messenger of OURS believes in that which
has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the
believers; all of them believe in ALLAH, and in HIS
angels, and in HIS Books, and in HIS Messengers,
saying, `We make no distinction between any of HIS
Messengers;' and they say `We have heard and we are
obedient. Our Lord, we implore THY forgiveness, and
to Thee is the returning.' (Holy Quran 2:285)

But at the same time we refuse to say that he is God

as we also refuse that someone says that Muhammad
(Peace be upon him) is God, because prophets are
God's slaves who were sent to the world to ask people
to worship God, but this doesn't mean they are gods or
that they have a divine nature because no God but
Allah. We also refuse that he is God's son because
God is Greater than having a son. God the creator of
the universe has no need to have a son which is a
human need but God is beyond all creatures
88. And they say, `The Gracious God has taken unto
Himself a son.'
89. Assuredly, you have indeed uttered a most
hideous thing.
90. The heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the
earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in
pieces.
91. Because they ascribe a son to the Gracious God.
92. It becomes not the Gracious God that HE should
take unto Himself a son.
93. There is none in the heavens and the earth but he
shall come to the Gracious God as a bondman.( Holy
Quran 19: 88-93)

101. The Originator of the heavens and the earth. How

can HE have a son when HE has no consort, and when
HE has created everything and has knowledge of all
things? (Holy Quran 6:101)

171. O People of the Book ! exceed not the limits in

your religion, and say not of ALLAH anything but the
truth. Verily, the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was
only a Messenger of ALLAH, and a fulfillment of
HIS word which HE has sent down to Mary, and a
mercy from HIM. So believe in ALLAH and HIS
Messengers, and say not, `They are three.' Desist, it
will be better for you. Verily, ALLAH is the only One
God. Holy is HE, far above having a son. To HIM
belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in
the earth. And sufficient is ALLAH as a guardian.
172. Surely, the Messiah disdains not to be a servant
of ALLAH, nor do the angels who are near to Him,
and whoso disdains to worship HIM and is proud, HE
will gather them all to Himself. (Holy Quran 4:171-
172)

In Christianity:
Some Christians believe that Jesus (Peace be upon
him) is God himself others believe that he is the son
of God, they believe that he was incarnated into a man
who came to redeem them from Adam's sin.
Well, first I can't understand why there are many
different opinions in the main belief of Christianity,
every opinion is nearly an independent religion, and
this is the first point. The second point is that Jesus
himself didn't say that clearly, may he said some
words (according to the Bible) that Christians
understood it this way , but there were many other
******s in both old and new testaments that refute
this as:
30By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear,
and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please
myself but him who sent me John:5:30
39Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the
ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may
this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as
you will." Matthew 26:39
32"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the
angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Mark 13:32
17Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet
returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and
tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your
Father, to my God and your God.' "John 20:17
3Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the
only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have
sent." John 17:3
29"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this:
'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one"
Mark 12:29
If you say that he said in the Bible that he is God's
son, well he is not the first one to be called God's son
in the Bible:
Exodus 4:22:
22 Then say to Pharaoh, 'This is what the LORD says:
Israel is my firstborn son
If you say that some ******s say that he is God, he is
not also the first one to be called that:
Exodus 4:16
16 He will speak to the people for you, and it will be
as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to
him.
. 6 "I said, 'You are "gods";
you are all sons of the Most High. ' Psalms 82:6
If you said that he was incarnated into a man so why
did God say that ****** if He knows that He will be
incarnated in Jesus:
3 Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend
with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a
hundred and twenty years Genesis 6:3[/align]

Finally I say :
64. Say, `O people of the Book ! come to a word
equal to us and you - that we worship none but
ALLAH, and that we associate no partner with HIM,
and that some of us take not others for Lords beside
ALLAH.' But if they turn away, then say `Bear
witness that we have submitted to God.'
(Holy Quran 3:64)
