Convergence problems with ANSYS's SOLID 65 finite element - can anyone help? - ResearchGate

When I use the SOLID 65 concrete finite element, my models lose convergence
too early. If I remove cracking and crushing capability, there are no convergence
problems. Why does this happen and how can I avoid it (I need cracking and
crushing)?

Hi Tanya,
did you manage to fix the convergence issues? I am having the same
problem when I try to model RC slabs.
