The workers ability may be the

factor to accomplish their work
in this area. But even though
they have experience in this
scenario, they do not know what
might going to happen to them
(especially workers on top).
If the trusses will breakdown,
casualties may be reported.

Engineering control
The working area must
not be highly occupied
with some obstruction
like woods, other
pointed materials, etc.
Administrative control
First aid kit must be
prepared in case of
emergencies.
Personal protective equipment
Must have safety vest,
hard hats, and safety
gloves; also if possible
wear high top shoes.

Slips and Trips

These could happen especially

on top of working area. Slips

may happen when there is

too little friction or traction
between the footwear and
the walking surface.
When a rain comes there is a
possibility of slips because of
wet surface.

Engineering control
Remove or set aside
equipments and tools
that can cause slips.
Better if put these tools
in a closed topper
wear /box if not in use.
Administrative control
Must have house tent
(tolda) in case of heavy

rain.

Inhalation of dust

Possible to inhale dust because

of no proper safety mask; also
the working place is not an
environment-friendly area.
Strong wind pressure is one of
the reason why this activity
happening in some cases.

Hard hats, raincoats,
high top shoes, working
gloves.

Goggles and safety
mask must be readily
available in case of
corrosive dust attack.
Administrative control
Stop working if extreme
dust might occur in the
workplace.
First aid kit also is a

accident; also while
using any hand tool
materials it is best to
wear hand gloves.

readily available in case
of accident.

before using any
equipments/tools.
