Termites have more ways to enter your home than you do!
Workers Follow a pheromone trail to the food source (your home) feeding in a 24 hour a day cycle 365 days a year. Soldiers Protect the colony from invading insects. Its mandibles can cut an enemy in half. Swarmers Generally seen in the spring leave the colony to mate and start new colonies.

SENTRICON Termite
Colony Elimination System Winner of the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award
Termites are on a mission. Its called Operation Munch.
How much havoc does this round-the-clock eating machine wreak? Every year in the United States: More than 5 million homes have some type of 1 termite problem 2 About $5 billion in termite-related property damage occurs Termite damage is more common than damage caused by storms, fires and earthquakes The costs of termite damage are rarely covered by homeowners insurance One thing is for sure, you cant ignore termites and the damage they cause.
Get peace of mind from true termite protection. That's certainly what the Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System aims to provide. Because it's not just about killing the termite colony. It's not just about baiting. It's not just about regular monitoring by an experienced professional. It's all this and more. Its knows that you are doing the right thing to protect your home. Why Should you be so confident Proven colony elimination. With the Sentricon System, termite colony elimination has become the standard. And when we say proven, were talking about conclusive independent research at 30 universities, reported in 45 published scientific articles, and by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Easy to live with. No drilling in floors and foundations No digging or trenching No chemical solution injected in the ground under and around a home No tank trucks of chemical solution No scheduling hassles Environmentally responsible. The Sentricon System was developed with a green mentality. In contrast to liquid chemical treatments, which use hundreds of gallons of chemical solution, the Sentricon System uses only a few grams of active ingredient when and where needed to wipe out the colony.

Carpenter Ants - live in the trees surrounding our homes. They bore chambers in the wood excavating deeper as the colony expands. They enter our homes foraging for food and water and may exploit the wood beams setting up a satellite colony. This takes place within the wall voids of your home and until the activity level increases or winged swarmers appear the problem goes undetected. Things to look for: Saw dust, 5-10 ants continual present or winged ants. Carpenter Bees - usually do not enter the home. They bore perfectly round holes in the Fascia & Soffits boards of your home, garage or deck. They deposit several eggs within the chamber which hatch. This may attract woodpeckers that hammer into the wood to get the eggs. Things to look for: Saw dust & perfectly round holes. Powder Post Beetles - The larvae stage of this pest resides within the wood of furniture or structural beams of your home. This wood was infested prior to being brought into your home. The larvae may live up to ten (10) years before emerging as the adult beetle. Things to look for: Fine Talc like Saw dust, tiny pin size holes in wood & the adult beetle.

RODENTS
Rodents are some of the most troublesome and damaging pests in the United States. They consume and contaminate food, damage structures and property, and transmit parasites and diseases to other animals and humans. Rodents live and thrive under a wide variety of climates and conditions; they are often found in and around homes and other buildings, farms, gardens, and open fields. How to Spot a Rodent Infestation: Active all year long. Do you see droppings? Do you hear noises after dusk? Do you see digging or burrows among plants or around your home, garage or shed? Are there smudge marks against beams, rafters, pipes, and walls?
DAMAGE CAUSED BY RODENTS Rodents consume and contaminate foodstuffs and animal feed. They damage containers in which foods and feed are stored. Gnaw on electrical wires and wooden structures. Tear up insulation in walls and ceilings for nesting. Undermine building foundations and slabs with their burrowing activities. They also damage garden crops and ornamental plantings. Diseases rodents may transmit: The Plague Typhus Trichinosis Salmonella WHAT TO DO: Sanitation is fundamental to rat control and must be continuous. Good housekeeping in and around buildings reduces available shelter and food sources. Off-the-ground storage will make detection easier. Garbage, trash, and garden debris receptacles should have tight-fitting covers. Building Construction and Rodent Proofing is the best form of rodent control in buildings. Seal cracks in building foundations, and any openings for water pipes, electric wires, sewer pipes, drain spouts, and vents. No hole larger than 1/4 inch should be left unsealed to exclude both rats and house mice. Make sure doors, windows, and screens fit tightly. Because rats (and house mice) are excellent climbers, openings above ground level must also be plugged.

House Mouse
The house mouse (Mus musculus) thrives around homes and commercial structures as well as in open fields and agricultural lands. House mice are small rodents with large ears and small black eyes. They weigh about 1/2 ounce and usually are light brownish to gray in color. An adult is about 5 to 7 inches long, including the 3 to 4 inch tail.
Roof rat (Rattus rattus), sometimes called black rat, is smaller than the Norway rat, and their tails are longer than their bodies. Roof rats are good climbers and nest above ground in shrubs, trees, and dense vegetation. In buildings, they are most often found in enclosed or elevated spaces in attics, walls, false ceilings, and cabinets.
Roof Rat
Norway Rat
Norway rat (Rattus norvegicus), called brown or sewer rats, are stocky burrowing rodents. They burrow along building foundations, beneath rubbish or woodpiles. When Norway rats invade buildings, they usually remain in the basement or ground floor.
THERMOGRAPHIC INSPECTIONS
Locate where heat is exiting and pests are entering Find voids that require insulation Detect hidden water leaks
Thermo-graphic Technology Infrared cameras are sensitive to differences in moisture and heat in almost any environment allowing, the homeowner, to identifying and correcting heating and cooling losses due to poor construction, missing or inadequate insulation, plumbing leaks and moisture intrusion significant increases building efficiency and structural integrity. The infrared photos below indicate where heat loss and moisture accumulation are by use of light and dark colors. Light colors indicate heat loss.
This camera can see all of this. Thermal infrared imaging has become a valuable tool in performing infrared energy audits in residential and commercial applications. The infrared camera has the ability to display heat energy as a visual image and gives you a new picture of your energy loss.

Dining Area
The dining area is difficult to treat during business hours and is very sensitive to chemical odors or visible residues.
Check behind flashing, under table tops and shelves, in hollow legs and drawers. Look for spilled or dried food where equipment touches the wall, floor or other equipment.
Food spillage and excess cardboard are common in this area and must be removed. Product sitting on shelves can become a resource site.
Inspect thoroughly here; grease builds up quickly and fryers often get stuck to adjoining equipment and walls, trapping food in hard-to-reach spaces.
Debris commonly builds up under the unit and against the wall, creating pest harborage. Be aware of pilot lights when inspecting or treating in this area.
Inspect inside cabinets and drawers and below and behind this area. Large voids exist here. Condiments are often spilled around salads and appetizers in cold plating stations.
