• Reis is predicting negative net absorption for 2010, however, the vacancy

• According to preliminary fourth quarter data, the average -400
asking rent increased 0.4% in the fourth quarter to $826
per month, but was down 1.7% from a year earlier. -600
• A 4.6% asking rent decrease had been forecast or all of 2009,
by far the worst ever in a market that for years had mostly small -800
