Summary of the Job Description

Develop high performance solutions for capital markets clients. Typical

applications are in risk management, post trade processing and research.
Learn and leverage knowledge of derivatives, fixed income and equities
pricing and market movements to create new applications
Typical development technologies Java and high volume data processing
technologies

Responsibilities
Capgemini Financial Services is looking to hire a Consultant for its Capital Markets
business to implement technology solutions. . Typical applications are in risk
management, post trade processing and research.
Capital Markets Responsibilities

Understand pricing and trade processing for different asset classes

derivatives, fixed income and equities.
Develop technology applications for areas such as complex event
processing, market data integration, analytical models for pricing and
front office transformation.
Utilize Java and other emerging programming languages
To develop the ability to crunch, manipulate and work with large and
complex data sets
Develop expertise in 1 2 business processes for 1 2 asset classes.
Develop deep understanding of typical business rules and market

standards for these business processes.

Develop solution design and development fluency experience.

Basic Responsibilities

To be tool agnostic and adapt to clients software needs

Maintain confidentiality of all organization and client information and to
learn and adapt to data protection guidelines across geographies
Create effective presentations and engage capital markets clients
Staying within timelines and deadlines for completion dates for projects.
This requires good time management and organizational skills
Flexible and service oriented. Adaptable to change in work environment,
project scopes and roles

Key Performance Indicators

Success in this role will be measured through a balance of qualitative and

quantitative performance measures that are aligned to the growth of
Capgeminis Financial Services business. These will form a part of the
annual objectives and will be reviewed biannually.

The goals for the position are organised around 3 key themes. Each theme has
clear result areas:

Application software design and development output.

Knowledge and application of capital markets domain business
Adherence to project timelines and quality of output

Specific Competencies for the role

Haves

B.E. from premier engineering colleges like IITs

Strong quantitative and problem solving skills

Knowledge of any software programming language
Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work on stringent deadlines and handle multiple projects
simultaneously
Strong analytical and reasoning skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both as an individual
and in a team
Ability to prioritize and interlace jobs to meet functional demands
Outstanding attention to detail and ability to handle multiple functions
