Youth 6th Grader Welcome 6-7:30 p.m. -Parents and 6th

graders: join us for a night completely devoted to welcoming you
into the program! Our youth and leaders will introduce themselves,
and talk about youth events, games that we like to play and share
some of our favorite things about being a part of the youth
program.Parents are always welcome. Bring your questions!
Youth Volunteer Training 5-7 p.m. led by Rev. Kim Parker, a
25-year veteran of youth ministry. We will cover best practices for
working with youth, Safe Sanctuary reminders and how to be the
best mentor you can be to our youth. Please bring your questions
about working with the youth program.Sunday School Teachers and
Sunday night volunteers will begin teaching on Sept. 20.

Thursday, Sept. 17: Human Sexuality: A Biblical

Understanding - Open Door Ministry will hold a 2-part
discussion on the biblical understanding of human sexuality on
Thursdays, Sept. 17 and Oct. 15. On Sept. 17 Rev. Trista will lead
us in a discussion of the texts found in the Hebrew bible (Old
Testament). On Oct. 15 we will look at New Testament scriptures
around this topic. Please join us for what promises to be both
an informative and lively discussion. Let Jo (443-3111 or jo@
moumc.org) know if you plan to attend so she can reserve a space
appropriate to accommodate everyone, or mark todays tearoff.
Jefferson Middle School (our PIE) requests: Girls underwear,
