erlite, high in siliceous matter is formed from rapid

cooling lava. The white to gray rocks possess glass-like
concentric structures. Besides expandability at high
temperature, it is lightweight in nature and impervious to heat, hence making it suitable for use in agriculture,
cryogenic tanks, coldboxes, insulator and fire-proofing.
It can expand four to 25 times its original volume while
the ore contains 2%-6% water. Perlite can be manufactured
to a density as low as 2lb/ft3 and up to 6-12lb/ft3 for use in
construction.
Manufactured perlite is rigid in form. The manufactured
product binder is sodium silicate, naturally high in silicate.
Manufactured perlite is formed into blocks or pipes. The
water-resistant nature of perlite prevents premature corrosion
of the protective insulation.

industry players. Poly Steel Pipe products are
used in the transportation of hot and cold
drinking water, beverages, gases, heating
liquid and wastage water.
It is the first and only company to
introduce steel pipes and fittings with
protection to the Malaysian water industry.
Poly Steel Pipe and its fittings are composite
steel bonded in the middle and protected
with HDPE (polyethylene), both as external
and internal linings. Manufactured from a
combination of steel and plastic, these pipes
are durable and non-corrosive.
The fittings are made of malleable cast
iron bodies with epoxy coating and PP
(polypropylene) lining with O-ring (rubber
sealing ring) inserted at the joints to prevent
water leakage in thread joints. The PP internal lining prevents contact of transported
substance with the malleable cast iron

with high resistance to harsh deterioration
