I would guess you could find the relevant information in the windows registry and export the
appropriate registry keys from your PC and export them to the other PCs.

We had our Desktop Engineering guys use SMS to push our ODBC settings to all of our users.
Other than using an application like that, I am not sure of another way to do it automatically.

You can try to copy the ODBC.ini file in "C:\WINDOWS" from the source computer to others.
Problem with this approach is that it will overwrite the destination file and any saved settings
(good if that is the goal, bad if people use ODBC for other apps as well). Also doesn't ensure
that people have the same drivers installed.
Good luck.

I was not sure it would work either. Did it still not work after a reboot? Because the ODBC
settings are also in the Registry, it may take a reboot for Windows to recognize the new
settings.

I am pretty sure that that odbc administrator creates a connection string in the registry when
you stop through that proeccess. If you can find that key and export/import it. It may just
work.

It worked for me...

what i did :
1) open the registry editor
2) select the ODBC folder under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE
3) export (xxx.reg file)

4) Import it into the registry on a different machine and reboot..

it works.

In 64-bit Windows,
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC

is where the 64-bit DSN's are stored. 32-bit DSN's are stored in

SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence 4.0 (BI4) is primarily 64-bit, so most data sources
will be looking for 64-bit DSN's. However, Crystal Reports 2011 is 32-bit (even on the BI4
server), so it will look for DSN's in the second Wow6432Node.
