Career objective
I am searching for a Spanish teaching position which would allow me to integrate my Spanish
language knowledge and ability, my formal pedagogical training and my experiences as a private
instructor into a complete and professional teaching role.

Summary of qualifications
 Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from Xavier University (12/1993)
 Advanced Oral Proficiency in Spanish on the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview (12/2008)
 Successful completion of Praxis II Spanish Content Exam ( 1/2009)
 Scored in the top 15% on the Praxis II Principles of Teaching and Learning Grades 7-12 Exam
(1/2010) receiving the ETS Recognition of Excellence designation

 Designed a 26-week exploratory Spanish course for the Mason School district’s after-school
