Alice Elizabeth Evans

Alice Elizabeth Evans (nee
Black), formerly of Haddonfield,
recently of Wiley Christian Re-
tirement Community, passed
away at the age of 94. She is sur-
vived by her older sister Marion
Chorley, niece Barbara Tarditi
(Jack), nephew Jim Chorley (Pat)
and 27 great nieces and great-
great nephews.
Alice was born in Philadel-
phia. She served on the mission
field in Japan from 1953-1957. She
lived and worked in Washington,
D.C., and Virgina until moving to
Haddonfield. She worked at Asso-
ciated Insurance Management
until retiring and moving into
Wiley Christian Retirement Com-
munity in Marlton, where she
was an active resident. Alice was
a woman of strong faith and
shared that faith with many. We
will all miss her, but know she is
home with her Lord. Services are
private. Memorial donations in
Alice’s name may be made to
Wiley at Wiley Christian Retire-
ment Community, 99 E. Main
