CCCNJ Weekly Prayer Requests

3/10/10
Scripture: “39You diligently study[c] the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life.
These are the Scriptures that testify about me, 40yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” (John 5: 39-
40)

Weekly Theme: “Ministry of CE”

1. Pray that God gives us wisdom and Spirit to inspire us to come to Jesus for eternal life.
2. Pray that God would help the coworkers in CE to train more Sunday school teachers and to plan the
best courses to equip brothers and sisters.
3. Pray for the Sunday School teachers for this quarter in regard to their dedication, their families, the
revival of their physical and spiritual well-being; Pray for their preparation of the courses; Pray for
more brothers and sisters to have a burden to be Sunday School teachers.
4. Pray that His words will be rooted deeply in the heart of brothers and sisters, and we all have a
breakthrough in spiritual life by the power of Spirit; Pray that God equips us to carry out His work at
our best effort, to build up His churches, to unify in His Word, and to know His Son so that we can
grow up to be like our Lord.
Pray for the Mission organizations﹕Minorities for Christ; Missionaries﹕Jun Zhang, and Seminary
student﹕ Janas Caruncho (Westminster); Also pray for the peace and safety of those brothers
and sisters who are on overseas short-term missions.

---English and Youth Ministry: Please pray for:

1. Chris Chu and Daniel Voo as they preach and chair this coming Sunday.
2. FEAST to have an impact on the attendees and newcomers will join them.
3. College students that are graduating: to find God’s will in their next step (job or school).
4. Mission Conference Preparation on March 19/20. Speakers: Dr. Hammond, Marcus Baeder.
5. Youth involvement in domestic mission trip this summer.
--- Children Ministry:
1. Please pray for ages 2 & 3 children’s worship teacher: Esther Caruncho; assistant: 李璇 and ages 4 &
5 children’s worship teacher: Dongzhe Cui; assistant: Yun Wang. Pray that the Lord give them strength
as they plant the seeds of children’s faith.
2. Please pray for all parents as they build good characters in their children, the Lord will give them
wisdom and patience.
--- People: Please pray for:
1. Healing for: Dennis, Mauro Mordini, Elder Lee, Tim Chia
2. Amy Yuey’s family situation: dad’s in nursing home (Alzheimer’s) and mom’s living with sister
during the week; having great unexpected joy
3. Baptismal candidates: 1 adult, 1 college, 3 youths.
4. Bob Condon: still looking for job, will be going through angioplasty to check out heart
5. Vincent Lai: Seeking God
--- Men’s Ministry: Please pray for:
1. Pray for the planning and coordination for this new ministry: first meeting on March 27;
survey to men in congregation to be passed out this week and a guest speaker for 1st meeting.
--- National and others: Please pray for:
1. Safety and protection for staff of World Impact, Chester PA. Pray against fear.
2. Nigerian Christians when over 500 Christians were killed this past Sunday and for peace between
Christians and Muslims.
3. Peace in Pakistan after attack on World Vision office, killing 6, injuring 7 staff members.
