My last appointment was as a Services Co-ordinator for Schneider Electric Ltd where I was
responsible for delivering projects within the Oil & Gas sector in Aberdeen using SAP. My
other remit was to sell other services such as upgrades etc. in order to maximise sales.
I have also worked as a Territory Sales Manager for RS Components Ltd. selling Industrial
Consumables, Test Meters, Electrical Cables, lighting, valves, stationery etc. to Oil & Gas,
Construction, Marine, Fish Processing, Hospitals and Electrical/Electronic companies in
Aberdeen.
My position with Severn Unival Ltd. was as the manager of a mechanical engineering
workshop in Grangemouth where we serviced all types of valves including Safety Relief
Valves, Globe Valves, Butterfly Valves, Flow Control Valves etc. As Centre manager I was
responsible for CRM and Development and the increase in sales throughout Scotland.
I was employed by BP Oil for seven years and gained work experience within the
departments of Operations, Project Engineering, HSE & EMAS Auditing and Procurement.
As well as speaking fluent English I can also speak Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and can read & write
Arabic. I hold a clean current driving licence and I am available for immediate start.

Business Development Manager- I set this business up in order to keep my selling skills well
honed and to generate an income in order to pay my mortgage and other bills. I do not like to
receive Income Support or other governmental benefits as I believe these should be kept for
the really needy such as the disabled. My work basically starts from diary management to
closing the sale and everything in between such as customer liaison, overcoming client
objections, beating the competitors, handling customer complaints etc. I sold
electrical/mechanical consumables, tools, PPE, etc. I sold to workshops, engineering
businesses, educational establishments and hospitals.
Territory Sales Manager- B2B sales located in the Oil & Gas capital of Europe (Aberdeen),
customers included Oil & Gas operating companies, SMEs, Local Authorities, Hospitals, Auto
Workshops, Marine Engineering companies, Fish Processing Plants, Quarries etc.
• Manage and complete my own diary of appointments.

Procurement Advisor-
• Manage & Control £10m worth of Third Party Spend, liaise with suppliers to
negotiate best prices and delivery terms for BP.
• Attend management meetings to show how third party spend was being
managed and to discuss contractor site issues i.e. PPE, HSE.
• Set up and manage an approved supplier database to meet ISO 9000 standards.
• Arrange and conduct internal and external HSEQ audits in line with the
departments KPIs.
Project Assistant-
• assist in the management, fabrication and successful completion of a Gas
Module to cater for the extra gas produced from the Central Graben Area (CGA)
in the Forties Field,
• Assist in the maintenance a Safe Working Environment for BP staff and
contractors by conducting weekly HSE & EMAS Audits on site
(HAZOP/HAZID/PHASER Risk Assessment, Take 5, Manual Handling)
• Present monthly reports to managers, attend weekly PHASER meetings,
• Successfully manage and distribute Engineering Workpacks
Process Operator-
• Authorised Work Permit Signatory.
• Manage and closely monitor contractors HSE performance,
• Manage and monitor the loading of crude oil onto Ship tankers was carried out
in a safe and efficient manner,
• Assist independent surveyors to take samples from top of tanks,
• Conduct laboratory analysis on despatched crude to identify water/salt content
and oil density,
Engineering Supervisor-
• Manage a team of 8 assembly cell operators, organise and plan daily work
schedules.

• Design and implement a Kanban system to reduce bottlenecking & improve cell
performance.
• Investigate employee issues such as attendance and attend employee
tribunals.
This included a sabbatical period, when I attended University, with the support of Family.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I hold a full clean current driving licence. I enjoy travelling and learning about different cultures
and to date I have visited 9 countries. I enjoy swimming, reading about cars and playing
football. I am passionate about Continuous Development and I am always keen to learn and
grasp new ideas and technologies. I have good language skills and apart from English I can
speak Urdu, Punjabi & Hindi very fluently. I can also read and write Arabic.
I enjoy working with people of all levels and get a great sense of satisfaction when I help them
to achieve a solution to a problem.
