Mario Party Reaction Speed/Vehicle Speed
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WoMqh5yNh0

In Mario Party 8, the minigame Surf's Way Up has the Mario Party cast go to our
Moon and fly past Earth while manuvering their space sleds through targets at
seemingly high speed.

To quantify the speed of their boards we need a timeframe and a distance.

The ending point of the race passes Earth at an angle after starting at the Moon so
using the Moon's closest point to the Earth will be the low end minimum distance
traveled because it doesn't take into account the extra distance they had to go from
that angle. I'm too lazy to angular size from the screenshot so this will do for
accuracy's sake.

"At perigee its closest approach the moon comes as close as 225,623 miles
(363,104 kilometers)."

Source:http://www.space.com/18145-how-far-is-the-moon.html

The computer player leaves the Moon at 25 seconds in and passes by Earth at 45
seconds.
[IMG]http://www.narutoforums.com/picture.php?
[IMG]http://www.narutoforums.com/picture.php?
albumid=6613&pictureid=72767[/IMG]
45 - 25 = 20

Using the most time it takes to pass Earth is 20 seconds total to bring this
speed to the absolute lowest end possible.

Distance/Time = Speed

363,104 kilometers/20 seconds =

18155200 meters / second

Using this converter we can see how close this is to the speed of light:
http://www.unit-conversion.info/speed.html

This gives us:

~6% the speed of light

This doubles as a durability feat by surviving the harsh conditions of outer space:

http://www.howstuffworks.com/question540.htm

It's worth mentioning that they don't need air for an extended period of time =
inconsistent breathing abilities for Mario characters.

They need to breathe whenever they feel like it :lmao
~6% the speed of light for the space sleds.

Bowser's Koopa Clown Copter, Warp Star Vehicle, and MC Ballyhoo Flying Speed
In Mario Party 8, Bowser steals the Star Rod and flies off in his Koopa
Clown Copter into outer space to his space station close to the Mushroom World's
Sun. The undetermined canon winner of the Star Carnival and MC Ballyhoo follows
him to get it back.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tt9LSbNVCkU

Assuming this even is their Sun, this would otherwise surely be FTL if they travelled
to another Solar System.

We need a timeframe and a distance.

Regarding how long it took to do this trip, the most it could possibly take is within
the same day as the Star Carnival was held which is once every year.

http://www.mariowiki.com/Star_Carnival

Taking into account that the Mushroom World is an Earthlike planet that has normal
human being population that lives there and sleeps regularly, we can assume that
these days and years are the same as Earth's definition, which is 24 hours equals a
full day.

http://www.mariowiki.com/Category:Mario_Golf_Characters
The "human" characters in Mario Tennis have obviously super human stats
because they can hit tennis balls that seem to be hypersonic because they catch on
fire after being hit by themselves and other (non-) human characters. By contrast,
the feats from the humans in Mario Golf don't surpass peak human qualifications.
The undetermined canon winner returns back with MC Ballyhoo much before sunset
occurs and with it still in the middle of the day. We can get a very lowballed result
by this being the maximum timeframe.

Sunrise to sunset time generally takes from the most being 14 hours to the
least being 12 hours depending on the seasons and location so these will be
the low and mid end respectively.

IMHO, this really could've been less than a few minutes given how quickly the scene
changed. For the high end we will use 30 minutes.

Now, to find out how much distance was covered in this amount of time.

With the Mushroom World being Earthlike and all that it should be the same
distance from its Sun as Earth is from its Sun.

Earth to Sun distance at its closest point: 147,000,000,000 meters

http://www.universetoday.com/14437/how-far-is-earth-from-the-sun/

But wait! The actual location that they travelled to was Bowser's space station
orbiting their Sun. To find the accurate distance we need to subtract the distance
from the Mushroom World to their Sun from Bowser's space station to the Sun to get
the right value.

Pixel Scaling and Angular Scaling ahead:

I ripped a screenshot from the video above and pixel scaled the needed
measurements.

http://postimg.org/image/7jc1zuf57/full/

Using the diameter of an average sized yellow star for the Mushroom World's Sun =
1,392,684,000 meters represented by the orange line as 1265 pixels

Dimensions of the image: 703 x 379

2*atan(1265/(379/tan(70/2))) = 115.387644 degrees

Angular Size Calculator

http://www.1728.org/angsize.htm

We are solving for the distance to the Sun so put in the Sun's diameter and the
degrees.

We get 440,310,000 meters as the distance between Bowser's space station

and the Sun.

147,000,000,000 - 440,310,000 = 146,559,690,000 meters

This is the minimum distance that was traveled for the first trip from the Mushroom
World to the sun satellite; this was travelled again in the single day timeframe by
MC Ballyhoo and the Warp Star vehicle who went back to the Mushroom World,
Bowser's Koopa Clown Copter should be around the same speeds as the other two
by staying just ahead for the first trip to the sun satellite. So multiply this distance
by two for the round trip within a normal day's time with getting back to finish the
celebrating on the day of the Star Festival and receiving awards, they got back and
it wasn't even sunset.

Getting the final results:

Distance/Time = Speed

There are 50,400 seconds in 14 hours

There are 43,200 seconds in 12 hours

There are 1,800 seconds in 30 minutes

Low: 293,119,380,000 meters / 50,400 seconds = 5,815,860.71 m / s

or ~2% the speed of light

Mid: 293,119,380,000 meters / 43,200 seconds = 6,785,170.83 m / s

or ~2.2% the speed of light

High: 293,119,380,000 meters / 1,800 seconds = 162,844,100 m / s

or ~52% the speed of light

http://www.unit-conversion.info/speed.html

Not much of a difference, though I feel better with accuracy.
TL;DR

~2% the speed of light is how fast all of these things are at the bare
minimum.
Millennium Star Flying Speed
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uagAqTCKDWg

The Millennium Star shows up in the intro of Mario Party 3 and flies from the center
of the universe in outer space to the Mushroom World a short time after he was
born in that specific location.

Now, we need to get a distance and a timeframe.

We will use the time it took for the Narrator to address what was happening as
events were taking place.

Quoting the narration:

In the center of the vast universe, a remarkably bright star was born. It was
the star that is born only once in a thousand years, the Millennium Star. According
to the legend, whoever possessed the mystical star was destined to become the
Superstar of the universe. However since the Millennium Star was but a newborn,
it fell from the starry sky. Around that time, Mario and his friends were all happily
relaxing, when suddenly the Millennium Star came crashing down. Mario and his
friends soon began arguing about who should keep the Millennium Star. Suddenly,
the Millennium Star gave off a brilliantly bright flash of light. And with that bright
flash, Mario and his friends were transported into a toy box! "Greetings. I am the
Millennium Star. You must pass my test to prove yourself worthy of possessing me.
You must journey across many lands and collect the Star Stamps. If you can collect
all seven, I shall accept you as the top Superstar in the universe."

The bolded text is when the Narrator is talking after the Millennium Star starts
travelling to the Mushroom World and when he finishes his trip.

As the Narrator is finishing his sentence about what the characters are doing he
says that it is around the same time the Millennium Star is being born and starting
his trip so the scene break time is coinciding with the time spent talking on the
Mushroom World which gives us no reason to assume that the scene break adds any
time on to the trip.

Without using game mechanics as a reference to scroll past the text the author says
and have a phony timeframe that is dependent on the player, we can reference
Wikipedia on how fast the Narrator should be speaking per each word.

Wikipedia lists audio speaking being 150160 words per minute, which is the range
that people comfortably hear and vocalize words. We'll use 150 to get the low end
speed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Words_per_minute#Speech_and_listening

We will use this rate for how fast the Narrator is talking per word spoken to find a
timeframe.

The Millennium Star finishes his trip in the time it takes the Narrator to say 25
words.

150 / 60 seconds

25 / 150 = 0.16666666666

0.16666666666 * 60 seconds = 10 seconds

This will be our timeframe.

It actually takes this long in the video from 35 - 45 seconds so the person clicking
the text to go ahead was doing it at the right speaking speed rate :amazed

Next, to find the distance from the center of the universe to the Mushroom World.

We will use Super Mario Galaxy as a reference to this specific location, as Mario
Party is canon to the mainstream games.

http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?b=20229

In Super Mario Galaxy, the final level is stated by Rosilina to be inside the center of
the universe. Rosilina uses the power of the Power Stars to fly her ship (which starts
out orbiting the Mushroom World) to the center of the universe.
Our own universe has no center because the Big Bang Theory shows that
it was an expansion (explosion) of space not an explosion in space that created our
universe; therefore having every point inside it be the center as is on a 4th
dimensional scale.

http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/physics/Relativity/GR/centre.html

This page is best at explaining this....
To measure how much distance it is to the "center" of the universe is in Mario's

universe from their home planet within a solar system is easy given the visual that
we see as they travel there.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fyIRKIU7qc
[IMG]http://www.narutoforums.com/picture.php?
albumid=6613&pictureid=72862[/IMG]
That's right...it is located inside a galaxy! This specific type of galaxy is what I
identified as spiral galaxy made up of many stars that I assume to have the same
size and likeness as inside our universe with the Sun that supports Earth life on the
Mushroom planet being given the same assumption for size and likeness.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiral_galaxy

We know that Rosilina and Mario went at least to the edge of the galaxy because
you can't see this galaxy anywhere in the background of stars in cutscene or
gameplay after they finish travelling and stop at the level where you fight Bowser.

With this in mind, the Millennium Star had to travel past at least one of the many
stars within the spiral galaxy since the galactic disc of the spiral galaxy is facing flat
toward Rosilina's ship on its trip from the Mushroom World's solar system.

The star to star distance should be the same as our universe's scale given the
cosmology. I will estimate what the distance was from a star in the spiral galaxy to
the Mushroom World's Sun using the average distance between stars in our
universe.

"the average distance between stars in the universe is about 4,150 light-years."

http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/GLAST/news/cosmic-fog.html

Converting to meters:

39261192880750000000 meters

Now we need to subtract the distance the Mushroom World is from their sun from its
distance to one of the spiral galaxy's stars.

I will be assuming the Earth's distance from the Sun for this value as the Mushroom
World is a sustainable planet for Earth like life.

Earth to Sun distance at its farthest point: 152000000000 meters

http://www.universetoday.com/14437/how-far-is-earth-from-the-sun/

39261192880750000000 meters - 152000000000 meters =

39261192728750000000 meters

This is the distance that the Millennium Star travelled to get to the Mushroom World.

Distance / Time = Speed

39261192728750000000 meters / 10 seconds = 3926119272875000000

meters / second

To compare to the speed of light:

http://www.unit-conversion.info/speed.html

= 13096231605.040193c

This speed scales to the entire character cast since the undetermined character that
collects all of the stickers by defeating the other players fights him as the final boss.
The character has to track and face his position to throw magic stars that hurt him.
It is unlikely that the Millennium Star held back his speed at all because he is
constantly moving around while the battle is taking place. Not only that, he is
embarrassed after he loses because he didn't expect to have to explain that he was
lying about his identity. He was lying the whole time and even faked the player out
from the very beginning intro of the game. He wasn't the real Millennium Star! He
flies away and leaves everyone angry that they got lied to. The real one appears,
warps reality back to normal, and redeems the promise that was given to the
character that beat the fake Millennium Star by giving them the title of the greatest
Superstar in the universe.

On a side note, Rosilina's ship did basically the same trip (except by starting out in
the Mushroom World's orbit) in about 15 seconds which would easily be FTL and
very close to this speed.
TL;DR

13096231605.040193 times the speed of light is how fast the Millennium
Star can fly.
SMB3 Items [Updated]
If you have played Super Mario Bros. 3 before, Mario often encounters monsters
called Piranha Plants. When he gets a Fire Flower, he transforms into Fire Mario. In
this special form, he shoots magical fire balls from his hands that completely
vaporizes the plant monsters. [URL="http://www.youtube.com/watch?
feature=player_detailpage&v=CUm4jJVOVXA#t=13"]Giant variations of these
monsters appear later in World 4. These monsters can be taken out with the same
method and with many other other special suits and powers that have the same
effectiveness.

Scaling the volume of the monsters:

Mario Party Dimension Busting and Travel Speed
The power of Mario character's wishes while they are inside the Dream Depot
In Mario Party 5, Bowser goes to the Dream Depot. This is a place where
dream worlds (pocket dimensions represented by the floaty balls of light that are
portals into each one) are created by this place's magic from the dreams of the
Mushroom World's inhabitants that sent to this location to be stored and kept safe
by the Star Spirits (magical star shaped beings that can warp reality).

Bowser wants to destroy everything inside every one of the dream worlds in the
Dream Depot and then fill all the empty dimensions with whatever the hell he wants
to create for his selfish self (lava fields, castles?).

He does the feat of destroying all of the currently sent dreams on the night that
Mario and Co. are invited over to the Dream Depot by the Star Spirits and causes all
the inhabitants of the Mushroom World to be unable to sleep from his destruction of
their dream worlds.

Now, one of these pocket dimensions are controversially stated to be holding a

Bowser: "We will destroy their good dreams and replace them with ours!"

Bowser was about to destroy everything inside this particular one and would have
done it like all the other pocket dimensions what with the Star Spirits being quite
scared that his wishing power was at this level what with already destroying the
dream worlds that that had been sent and created there that night.

Luckily, one of the characters in the cast show up and interfere with his plans and
wish to stop him and save the dreams to keep them the way they are. He is stated
to destroy each dimension one at a time, and was about to destroy all of them and
ruin each with his own way he wanted each dream to look like. So, let's get on with
it.

We'll assume for the sake of a low-end that the stars in this pocket dimension that
somone dreamed up from the Mushroom World has the same GBE as the star with
the lowest GBE in our universe.

How much does it takes to scatter the contents of a star? Well, the minimum energy
would need to surpass its gravitational binding energy so it wouldn't be pulled back
together.

- GBE of VB 10 (lowest known stellar binding energy): 2.998 tenatons

or

2.998E30 Tons of TNT

http://outskirtsbattledome.wikispaces.com/Comprehensive+Energy+Scale

http://www.universetoday.com/102630/how-many-stars-are-there-in-theuniverse/

Low End:

I'm assuming the amount of stars in the dimension is the same amount that our
average galaxy holds.

Source above says: 400000000000 stars

400000000000 * 2.998E30 = 1.1992E42 Tons of TNT

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

High End:

I'm assuming the amount of stars in the dimension is the same amount that our
universe holds.

Source above says: 1000000000000000000000000 stars

1000000000000000000000000 * 2.998E30 = 2.998E54 Tons of TNT

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Bowser's Quote:
"Don't worry! This world grants wishes to those who wish..."

Naturally, Bowser gained this level of power from using the Dream Depot's magic
that granted his evil wishes he wished to it. Within this place, he can manipulate
this level of energy just by thinking a wish to the Dream Depot. Only special people
can wish powerfully, according to the Star Spirits, only the individuals in the
playable character cast had enough wishing power to fight in the final battle against
Bowser and survive his magical/physical attacks and defeat him by grabbing his
magic attacks and throwing it back on him to launch him into a cosmic hazard he
created in his personal dream world dimension.

Inclusively, they all should also be able to have each of their individual wishes warp
reality with an effect at least equal to or greater than the level of energy that
Bowser had with his individual wishes within this special environment what with
negating his wishing power in each dimension with presumably an equal amount of
energy.

So, these characters can manipulate the Dream Depot's magic to attack with a
destructive capacity of easily solar system+

If the Mario cast were to fight in this area with an opponent from another fictional
verse, odds are they wouldn't be able to react before the Mario cast (MFTL
reactions) wishes said enemy to be blasted apart by this magic, which takes effect
as soon as they think their wish (Bowser instantaneously creating a bunch of

Mechakoopa minions from nothing in the final battle when he notices one of the
players in the Mario cast has come to face him in his dream world)

Outside of this special area, the character cast and Bowser don't wield the power of
wishes with the Dream Depot's magic not affecting anything outside of its area,
which is in an arbitrary location in outer space in the Mushroom Universe.

Now, we have solar system level destructive capacity for some Mario characters
(under certain enviormental conditions), what's to say about their normal physical
capabilities? Well, considering the cast and Bowser are already scaled to be able to
run at MFTL+ speeds from a previous calc I had made, kinetic energy can't be
directly derived from their speed with that feat because it would take infinite energy
to accelerate at/past(?) the speed of light. Thus, we have a relativistic speed feat
where the main cast of characters cross planetary distances, which also would be
applied to Bowser's casual speed; not their maximum speed that would occur in
minigames where they go their fastest.
In Mario Party 6, there is a map board where the cast travel between planets in a
solar system which may or may not be their own solar system where the Mushroom
World would be located in.

http://www.mariowiki.com/Astro_Avenue

They travel on some sort of magical platform that has Earth-like gravity so that they
can run without the vacuum of space affecting them.

The planets that they traverse past are not to scale, what with their proportional
size, however the location that they are at is to scale. All the playable cast of
characters move at the same pace between planets when this map board is played
on.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvu--QhI2Is

The frame rate of the video is 29 fps (gallery below) and Wario crosses his foot over
the diameter of one of the green gas planets in 5 frames, which I will assume to
have the diameter of the smallest known gas planet within our universe, for a low
end.

http://imgur.com/a/MxTMh#5

5/29 = 0.172413793 seconds

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kepler-11f

This planet's diameter is "about 2.6 times the radius of Earth"

Earth's radius = 6371000 meters

2.6 * 6371000 meters = 16564600 meters is the diameter of the smallest known
gas planet

Dividing by two to get the radius:

16564600 / 2 = 8282300 meters is the distance Wario traveled.

Speed = Distance / Time

8282300 meters / 0.172413793 seconds =

48037340 meters / second

or about 16% of the speed of light

Btw, before anyone starts claiming game mechanics on this feat, this specific
animation is scripted and uncontrolled by the player.

To get kinetic energy from this, plug this into the calculator below:

According to the Wario World instruction manual, Wario weighs 308 lbs.

308 pounds = 139.70645 kilograms

Plug the velocity and the weight in kilograms in the calculator and you get:

http://www.stardestroyer.net/Empire/Science/Relativity.html

= 1.644E17 joules

or

39292537.08 Tons of TNT

Multi city busting when he hits into you...

and all of the other characters can match and tank his attacks when they are
thrown into minigames where they stomp, kick, and punch on each other.
Like this one for example:
http://www.mariowiki.com/Pokey_Punch-out

Presumably, when all the characters accelerate to their faster speeds beyond even
the Millenium Star's flying speed, their destructive values for their kinetic energy
would start to increase towards infinity, so this is a low-end estimate for all the
character cast's physical destructive capacity and durability.
Summary: Mario Party characters are Herald level in the Dream Depot and can
casually attack with and tank multi city level physical blows.
Mario RPG - Exor's Skyward Sword Smash
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vLYO9x5W9k
@ 8:40 - 9:40

In Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars, this sword monster smashes into Bowser's
Keep and shakes the mountain the castle rests upon.

I forewent scaling Exor and other buildings / man-made structures on the World Map
and took only the natural elements to scale.

I will note that there was only this shot of the entire mountain to take its full weight
into consideration, so since there isn't another picture shot, this will be the most
accurate way to scale the correct size of the mountain.

Scaling the volume of the mountain

Mario = 1.55 meters

http://www.videogamesblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/07/super-mariobig-size-statue.jpg

Mario = 25 pixels

Spring White Section Width = 29 pixels

25/1.55 = 0.062 meters per pixel

0.062*29 = 1.798 meters for the spring width

http://postimg.org/image/599rthclr/

1.798/25 = 0.07192 pixels per meter

shown to be touching the cliff side

http://postimg.org/image/3tcp3vo7h/

On the world map, the height of the falls where

the water flows off of the rocks on the cliff, is 4 pixels long.

Therefore world map scale per pixel:

73.64608 / 4 = 18.41152 meters / pixel

Radius of mountain: 48 pixels = 883.75296 meters

Height of mountain: 38 pixels = 699.63776 meters

Volume of a cone: http://www.calculatorsoup.com/calculators/geometrysolids/cone.php

= 572221000 m^3

(Keep in mind that there was likely more of the mountainside with the waterfall
touching it that had not been shown since the animators cut off it off below since it
was such a long level- so the values from here on may be higher - this is a low-end)

In one frame, he moves the castle along with the mountain underneath it slightly to

he drives hiself into the mountain. After Mario comes back, Exor casually shakes the
mountain again whilst embedded in the rocky ground to destroy a bridge connected
to the castle entryway.

or

180.239 Kilotons of TNT

While this is a mountain level feat of strength, its going to be less impressive than
destroying a mountain of rock since its 'just' pushing it around.

This gives multi town+ level durability for Mario, Bowser, and Peach who got directly
got hit by this and launched them into different lands. They all tanked this without
any sign of injury from afterward and Mario was only dazed because Toad didn't give
him any concern from flying from nowhere out of the sky :laugh

His attack power scales to the rest of the cast that fights him later on (Mallow and
Geno) and destroys his multi town level+ durable body (Newton's third law of
motion for this feat) shown to be dissipating away at the end of the game. His
magic / spells are obviously more effective than his physical attacks with hurting the
three who could tank his smashing hit without any harm.

And of course, Smithy was much more of a threat than him; he could one shot /
crucially damage the three characters, who again, tanked this level of damage like
nothing, at the start of the game when they obviously became much stronger at the
end. And Smithy is a joke compared to the likes of Culex, who is made out of

Paper Mario: Royal Stickers Magical Blast Speed

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-milA0b3LI
@ 7:44 - 7:49

In Paper Mario Sticker Star, Mario defeats Bowser and takes back the last Royal
Sticker from him. He then wishes upon the six and they reverse time in his universe,
or home dimension, as I would call it, to the night of when the Sticker Comet visited
before Bowser came and made trouble and set events in motion for the rest of the
game.

Somehow everyone remembers what occurred before time was reversed, and those
who had been killed by Mario / dead from the events in the following day are
revived from the time manipulation, and so on. But eh, its magic.

The interesting part is the speed that the Sticker's magic expands at and warps the
reality of the object(s) that it touch(es) its golden sparkles with,
not unlike the Star
Rod. Since it reversed time (which this concept applies to every object
existing currently in his home dimension) it would need to spread out to the edges
of the dimension / universe. Since the Marioverse's cosmology is very similar and
not unlike a parallel universe (Super Paper Mario references to our dimension /
universe as a part of their multiverse), holding galaxies and solar systems, we will
use our universe's radius as a accurate placeholder for the distance.

It takes about 5 seconds for the magical omnidirectional sphere to expand to
reverse the time that everything and everyone experienced in his universe /
dimension starting since Bowser touched the Sticker Comet.

The radius of our observable universe:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Observable_universe#Size

"The diameter of the visible universe is 93 billion light-years, making the radius
46.5 billion light-years."

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/98/Observable_Universe_with
_Measurements_01.png

46500000000 light years / 5 seconds = 9300000000 light years / second =

8.79829141665E25 meters / second =

293481817827479230c

That's a fast omnidirectional attack that can be activated with a mere thought.
This magical spells area of effect is universal in range; the closer you are to Mario
with the Royal Stickers, the faster you are going to be hit by their magic and have
your reality affected. This artifact is universal level; this still is below other artifacts
with the potency to affect reality on a multiversal scale.

The Star Rod has never been shown to have magic spells take effect at this level of
speed due to taking about 2-3 seconds depending on the spell for the top of the
staff to glow (Fairly Oddparents style) and have the magic to take effect afterward,
and then its range has only been shown to be planetary. (hinted to be multiversal,
but even so) It seems to be inferior to the combined power of all six stickers based
on presented feats. (hype should put it above the stickers with being stated to be
all-powerful and able to grant all wishes of the person wishing to it)

So, other things that the 6 Royal Stickers have done with their wish granting
abilities besides manipulate time in an universe sized dimension?

Notably, while separated individually with somebody touching them and

granted their power through wearing it, they can make snow unable to melt and
turn into water, shape shift to roughly 5 times their original size to enhance their
physical bodies, regenerate multiple times from Mario's level of physical attacks (at
least multi city block with his [URL="http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?
b=20333"]wooden hammer swing strikes,
metallic hammer swing
strikes are in the multi town level), manipulate wind to throw around
mushroom people (having about average human weight) like rag dolls, and release

some type of sparkling magic blast that could knock out Mario (easily above his
town level crash
that didn't even tickle his durability, let alone knock him out). Low tier reality
warping, really.

All 6 brought together and you have the

combined
MacGuffins that are massively above what they can do alone; warp reality on
a universal scale. And these are all a part of the (original) Sticker Comet, which split
apart because Bowser is a power hungry sob.

(Giant) Bowser's minimum magical power and durability

Bowser creates a
weird magical vortex that sucks in gas planets (notable with the distinctive "swirl"
formation across their surface) and they are presumably destroyed by not showing
up after he is defeated.

Assuming that the gas planets are the smallest size that can be naturally found, we
will use the parameters of Kepler 11f, the smallest gas planet found in our universe.

How much energy does it take to destroy this smallest of small gas planets?

Working out the variables
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kepler-11f

This planet's diameter is "about 2.6 times the radius of Earth"

Earth's radius = 6371000 meters

2.6 * 6371000 meters = 16564600 meters =

16564.6 kilometers is the diameter of the smallest known gas planet

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://kepler.nasa.gov/Mission/discoveries/kepler11f/

Surface gravity log[gsurf (g cm s-2)] = 4.3 0.2

Surface Gravity (minimum) = 4.3 - .2 = 4.1 (g's)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Height of observer = 1.6 (meters)
Plug into here:

http://www.stardestroyer.net/Empire/Tech/Beam/Calculator.html

Low end = 8.258E33 joules

High end = 1.418E41 joules

To compare, the Earth takes 2.24E32 joules to destroy Earth.

So lower value is enough to bust the Earth ~37 times over

higher end can bust it about ~633035714 times over

(this is for dispersing the planets mass about 5 planetary diameters per second,
take the second value as seriously as you will).

He was maintaining this level of energy over time...and he stayed inside the vortex
for a good amount of time after the cast hit him with enough attacks to knock his
ass out with their magic moves. He was perfectly fine afterward, though furious
about his loss.

This was just through his "normal" magical abilities that he does and since it is
Mario Party he normally doesn't utilize this level of magical power in the main series
(lelinb4SuperMarioGalaxyFeatz). IDK why he didn't create it right next to the cast
but eh, they might be as strong as him durability wise if this is the case. Ah well this
could be used for other calcs as well if someone busted multiple gas planets to
figure out an absolute low end of energetic destruction.

Stop Watch Item Accumulated Damage Potential

www.mariowiki.com/Stop_Watch

In the Mario series, there is an item that stops time after the person holding it takes
it out of their hammerspace and holds it above their head. Considering that the
main characters: Mario, Peach, Luigi, and Bowser, have this item available for battle
numerously in Super Paper Mario, it seems a shame to not know its potential with
the damage stacking the time stop has the power to do. It affects enemies that are
in a range of about twenty or so meters in all directions from the person using it.
Then, the enemies are frozen in time for exactly 10 seconds according to the
time-limit timer on the Flipside's and Flopside's Pit of 100 Trials. This is exactly how
long Super Mario Bros 2's stop watch functions. While their enemies are frozen in
time, they should be able to attack constantly with the damage accumulating to
very high levels and then released after the time stop is over.

We know that all four of them can at least equal the kinetic energy that
Wario outputs with
their speed increasing how hard they can hit. Taking this into consideration, their
punches ( kicks, and stomps) are going to be at least be moving at 48037340
meters / second and have a destructive capacity of 1.644E17 joules.
Just to note on the stamina of this feat, this is effortless considering that the Mario
cast has been shown to be able to run much faster than the Millennium Star can fly
at. And he flies at MFTL speeds, so yeah, a big low end on the minimum amount of
damage and speed it's delivered at.

How many strikes can they do in one second?

At the very worst, Bowser has the longest of arms and can strike the slowest with
having to move his arms the most.

http://postimg.org/image/j5r59eb5l/

Mario height = 1.55 meters

Represented by 90 pixels

1.55/90 = 0.0172222222 meters per pixel

(I used Pythagorean theorem on finding the hypotenuse of Bowser's arm at the

angle its at, check yourselves lol, I used the height and length of the slanted line for
the other two triangle legs)

0.0172222222 * 72.67 = 1.25153889 meters

Bowser's arm is 1.25153889 meters.

To account for pulling his arm back?

He'd pull back at most the length of his arm, so twice the length of his arm for every
strike.

1.25153889 * 2 = 2.50307778 meters

- distance for one arm for one punch.

48037340 / 2.50307778 = 19191309.3

(can't count the leftover punch :laugh, rounded down for accuracy)

= 19191309 punches per each second with one arm

Multiply by two to account with alternating the punches with each of their arms

19191309 * 2 = 38382618 punches per second with two arms

Multiply for the duration of the time stop, ten seconds:

38382618 * 10 =

383826180 punches in the total time frame

383826180 * 1.644E17 joules = 6.3101024E25 joules

or in the way the OBD is familiar with:

~15 PetaTons of TNT

Reaching at least continental level based on the lower end of feats; sorta
comparable with the whole cast trading blows with Donkey Kong in some of the
fighting mini games, who can casually punch with country level (oh the title irony)
energy, which seems to hint the real value being a lot higher than this calc
suggests, with them all very likely having his level of strength and the energy they
should strike with (no matter what speed they accelerate to) is country level. But,
for the sake of finding a minimum, this result shalt do.

Ah, Mario's universe has more hax than actual physical power, it seems to be. It's
not really like these four characters wouldn't use some transmutation , time / space
manipulation , mindrape , soulfuck, reality warp, etc in place of attacking physically.

(most of these methods require other items they should have on them since in the
case that they have time stopping items of all things, they are normally going to be

carrying all of the items they have ever had gotten to carry in their infinite
hammerspace; at least in most scenarios I've seen within the OBD)

Welp, probally going to update this eventually if one of the variables should be
substituted for the calc. Tootles. :whistle

Mario and Luigi: Zeekeeper's Dream Energy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KJn6rhjOeU
@3:05 - 3:55

Explanation of what just happened:

The Zeekeeper (the badass pink bird) creates an aura of dream energy (the rainbow
colored stuff) to break apart a spherical barrier that can withstand the force of
holding up an enormous castle on it's bottom section even after being weakened by
his Wakebeam.

Naturally, the barrier's other sides should all be this strong and be unstressed by
this amount of weight being on the sides not . He flew into the front side that was
overwhelmed by his energy and broke apart along with the entire rest of the barrier.
As the barrier is destroyed, nothing is holding it up and it falls with a crash.

So, how tough is the barrier's bottom side to be holding up this gloomy castle? Let's
use gravitational potential energy to find out!

Scaling the castle's volume:

Mario is 1.55 meters tall, including his hat, represented by 62 pixels.

The floor length is 252 pixels next to Mario. Ratio: (252/62)

(252/62) * 1.55 = 6.3 meters is the floor length

On the Map, the length is represented by 11 pixels.

Ratio on the map screen: (6.3/11) meters / pixel

Total length of all rooms that span straight across the castle:

89 + 63 + 72 + 63 + 37 + 124 + 60 + 143 + 119 + 69 + 74 + 73 + 113 + 92 +

110 + 108 + 132 + 138

1679 pixels * (6.3/11) = 961.609090909 meters long at least for the length.

Neo Bowser Castle Base picture: http://imgur.com/L0ndzlr

Note on the Base Picture: 162 pixels is the green line which
spans the length across the castle starting from the front door.

961.609090909 meters / 162 pixels = 5.93585858586 meters / pixel

is the ratio on the base picture.

Line lengths in pixels with their corresponding colors and shapes:

(I used Pythagorean theorem to scale what the actual lengths were of the slanted
lines)

Red: 60 * 5.93585858586 = 356.151515 meters

Volume of the (2) smaller trapezoidal prisms:
Neon Green: 50 * 5.93585858586 = 296.792929 meters

Yellow: 58 * 5.93585858586 = 344.279798 meters

Dark Blue: 18 * 5.93585858586 = 106.845455 meters

Surface area of base: .5(a+b)h = units^2

http://imgur.com/9LltiVX

2088.34297338/88 = 23.7311702 meters / pixel is the scale

The height when it appears is 139 pixels, however this is incorrect.

The actual height is past the top of the screen, afterward it floats even higher

than when it was created on the top of the Mount Pajamaja and can't even be seen
on the overworld map.

263 pixels from the top of the screen on the location where it is shown to be floating
above.

263 * 23.7311702 = 6241.29776 meters

Speaks for itself, really. This should be easily above what is normally called "city busting" for the stress that the bottom section of the barrier supports and what the
other sides should be able to withstand.
His amount of dream energy that he put into the Wakebeam was obviously a lot
more than
this aura attack, so the beam's destructive capacity should be > than this. This is
scaling through conventional means, so this value is on the lower end by not
accounting for the barrier to be powered by a source of energy that warps reality
and stuff. Plus, he did this when he was way out of shape, so he would normally be
able to spam this whenever he felt like it (and probably put more power into each
attack).

The scaling for the size of the castle should be useful to get the sizes of the islands
that were busted casually by Antasma's own dream energy reserves. Antasma was
supposed to be able to fight with the Zeekeeper and not get killed, only sealed
away, so this destructive output applies to a part of his durability as well.

And I'll be ending this with the Zeekeeper's motto since its Valentines Day and all:
"Throw away material crutches and rely on others".
Mario Galaxy Compendium
1. Mario gets launched to Space Junk Galaxy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ll4ZwNQR7GQ
1:03-1:29
Mario is shot by a Pull Star through space to a group of planetoids to continue
collecting power stars to regain the Comet Observatory's ability to fly to save Peach.
When travelling to all of these locations in space,he reacts and flips in mid-flight
before landing on the astronomical body that he starts the level on.
The speed at which he is shot at is unknown, from this,we can calculate his speed
that he moves at to flip before landing.
When traveling to this certain level,he starts out on Rosalina's ship in the Mushroom
World's orbit and ends up somewhere in space either farther from his local star.
Distance from Mushroom World to Comet Observatory (assuming planet is Earth's
size)
Using game cover's angsize distance because the ship is closer than this with
extreme curvature,it will only decrease the distance, giving slower results.

Earth Diameter: 12,756,320 meters

I'll be assuming his star is the same as a main sequence.
2*atan(26/(343/tan(70/2))) =4.11390036 degrees
Diameter of Sun:1,392,684,000 meters
Distance from Mario's location to the star =19,388,000,000 meters
http://www.universetoday.com/14437/how-far-is-earth-from-the-sun/
The shortest distance the Earth comes to the Sun, used as distance between the
Mushroom World and its star: 147,000,000,000 meters
Total Distance Traveled =147,000,000,000-19,388,000,000-3,810,800
=127,608,189,200 meters
Using a timeframe of 60 seconds, the average human being un-trained can
hold their breath for, as he needs to hold his breath until he reaches the planetoids
which have Earthlike atmospheric conditions and air pockets on them, and he
suffocates without air in underwater levels, and as there is no air in space he must
be moving quickly to not suffocate/pass out.
127,608,189,200 meters/60 seconds= 2,126,803,150 m/s is his velocity when he is
travelling to the planetoids.
When he does his flip,we need to know the distance between him and the place he
lands at.
http://postimg.org/image/x8qwt3iq1/
Mario = 38 pixels represents 1.55 meters
Length of blue object = 93 x 19 = 94.921 pixels
(1.55/38) * 94.921 = ~3.87177763158 meters
2*atan(94.921/(343/tan(70/2))) = 14.9402808 degrees
Distance to the camera when he lands = 14.764 meters
http://postimg.org/image/gd24j5ha5/
Length of blue object = 23 x 8 = 24.35 pixels
2*atan(24.35/(343/tan(70/2))) = 3.8530293 degrees
Same dimensions as above;
Distance to the camera before he lands and begins to flip = 57.553 meters

Total distance to the planetoid = 57.553 - 14.764 = 42.789 meters

Distance Mario moves in one complete flip as determined by arc length calculator:
Half of Mario's height=.775 meters
Angle=180 degrees
Length/Distance moved by Mario to flip = 2.435 meters
Now,all that is needed is a timeframe. As he did the movement of one complete turn
of his body in a flip before arriving on the platform from the solved distance above,
this movement occurred within
=57.553 / 2,126,803,150= ~2.70608025E-8 seconds
Movement speed of Mario's flip = 2.435/(57.553/2,126,803,150) = 89,982,549.5
m/s
the level bosses that actually threaten Mario.:maybe

=~10,913,436,900 times the speed of light.
Considering that Lubba's ship was run by at least a similar amount of power run by
the amount of Power Stars and Grand Stars collected that give it energy, it should
be just as fast, 5 Grand Stars + 60 Power Stars needed for powering a ship for this

trip at this speed and for full flying capabilities, which is reclaimed (after Bowser
steals them) by Mario for both ships to return each of them to their former glory.

Lubba's ship possessed 6 Grand Stars + at least 102 Power Stars before having
them stolen by Bowser, it would've been extremely hard to attack with being
maneuverable at such MFTL speeds with the star energy powering it. From the
translated Japanese quote, we can tell how fast Bowser's attacks were and scale
that from Mario's movements in battle with him.
3. Mario's speed in relation to Bowser's meteors
He moves around the planetoid relative to the speed of the meteorites as he dodges
Bowser's attack.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfWiGtCjVzc
@2:01
I'll be attributing the speed of the meteors to be at least as fast as Lubba's ship as
by what he stated in the game with intercepting them on their course of travel:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?
v=55XEReSY2Lk&feature=player_embedded
@ 17:53 "On a eu le malheur de croiser la route de ce pirate de Bowser. Il nous a
balanc de mtores et le vaisseau en a pris un sacr coup." or "We had the
misfortune to cross routes with this pirate Bowser. He threw us meteors and
the ship took a big hit."
With straightforward reasoning that the projectiles had to be moving with a greater
or equal velocity compared to the ship's speed to make contact to damage it; this is
what we'll apply to Bowser's meteor speed as a low end.

above that had Mario flipping. This is quite in line with the other (outlier :maybe)
feats.

The mass of the black hole in SMG2 is easy to accurately assume, since it should be
a supermassive one, given that its located in the same place as in the first game, at
the center of the universe in the middle of a real unbarred spiral "galaxy" with stars
and such around it.
I'll be assuming that it doesn't have any properties that are unrealistic, unlike the
mini-black holes in levels which have obvious discrepancies and should be pseudo
ones, which are not realistic from their strange activity of sucking like a vacuum

cleaner, with accompanied noises,of only objects that are within their range of
suction ranging from a few meters away.
However, this black hole should be treated as a realistic one with Occam's Razor
supporting its realistic context and nothing suggests it to act differently than RL
ones afaik,so from what I can tell its only supported to act realistic.

100 GPA * 436215979.906 m^3 =

100000000000 * 436215979.906 =

4.3621598E19 joules

Or ~10.42 gigatons of TNT.

You bloody psychopathic bat. This scales moreso to the Zeekeeper's power
subduing him and engaging him in combat enough that he couldn't escape by being
kept busy so he could be sealed in the dream world.

Next; a feat of monstrous strength by a Muscle Lord.
Muscle Lord Pullurps "hype" puts him at a level that only would be power
scaled to the Zeekeeper, just maybe, because he was arguably the most powerful
thing on the island as per everyone worshiping him as a god instead of him and
other Muscle Lords. He is regarded as the most impressive Muscle Lord out of all
the other guys (athletes?), so it does make sense in context with his strength level.
What he was remembered for was this:

Pullurp was the most celebrated of all athletes who participated in the Ultrapump
Games. He lifted his body up with such force that onlookers feared it would crack
the firmament. He thrust it downwards with such enthusiasm that he threatened
to break the earth's mantle. And yet, his lone failure came on the parallel bars,
where the Double Glute Spin eluded him all his life.

To crack the sky is unquantifiable or pure hyperbole, but we can try to see what
damage he would be doing if he did hypothetically hit the earth with his body and
with enough force to break an Earth-like planets mantle.

http://geography.about.com/od/physicalgeography/a/geodesyearthsize.htm
The volume of the mantle is 84% of the Earths volume which is 108.321E10 km^3.
108.321E10 km^3 to cm^3
= 1.08321E27 cm^3

Ill use 8 j/cc, because its for normal rock fragmentation, which most of the mantle
is made of tougher stuff so this will be an estimate until I can find something better.

1.08321E27 * 8 * .84 = 7.2791712E27 joules
Or ~1.73 exatons of TNT.

Thank goodness he didnt do this! This impact would plow through the crust and
cause tsunamis and other disasters...not to mention kill onlookers.

5.Rosalinas Magical Shield Durability
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBQyDr8ap1k
@6:30 - 7:50

Okay, Im treating this destructive event as an expanding explosive blast as the

pseudo black hole had grown in size to encompass most of their entire universe and
had exceeded the GBE of every last star at the universes edge. All stellar objects
visible in space are gone and destroyed in all directions around the pseudo black
hole @7:34 in the video with only rocks left at the outside edge of the universe.

To anyone arguing that this is not a pseudo black hole, it was made as a result of
halting the Grand Star as it was creating matter to make Bowsers planetoids, so I
very much doubt its realistic properties, so how is it going to be quantified in
destructive force?

http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?bt=130481

Im assuming that their universe has neutron stars, as it is a universe full of stars
functioning like our Sun as one of these stellar objects supports an Earthlike planet,
the Mushroom World. So, Ill use Chaos accepted method but regard for the stars
with a higher GBE than our Sun residing in this universe, as jetwaterluffy
recommended. Technically, he shouldve accounted for this for our universe but

didnt, since these types of universal calcs are rare and lolfiction worthy, so I'm
assuming he was lazy and didn't update it.

http://www.mariowiki.com/Pulsar
Also, these guys, which come from a canon game, note that they know what pulsars
are since they believe they are minuscule imitations of real pulsars, which are
highly magnetized, rotating neutron stars that emit beams of
electromagnetic radiation. So, neutron stars have to exist in their universe for them
to know what real ones are.

http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?b=18368
Radius of the observable universe: 8.79829141665E26 meters / 2 = 4.39914571E26
meters
Surface area of the universe = 2.4319E54 m^2
Most massive neutron star GBE (PSR J16142230) = 5.3E46 joules
Radius (low-end) of neutron star = 11 kilometers or 11,000 meters
Surface area of neutron star = 1520.53 m^2
Universe surface area / Neutron star surface area = 1.5993765E51

Energy yield of destruction around the edges of pseudo black hole = 1.5993765E51
* 5.3E46 = 8.4766955E97 joules

Rosalina was on her ship and pulled inside the center of the psuedo black hole as it
was still expanding to grow as large as the universe @6:55

She tanked a greater amount of energy than the energy that was radiated off in all
directions from this location that scattered the masses of countless planets, stars,
and interstellar clouds at the edge of the universe. Therefore, we can only speculate
on her durability being at least equal to the sum of the outer edges destruction,
anything not greater than this yield will not scratch her with a shield.

She can activate this shield on others, as she protected base Mario, who had no
business surviving the center of this cataclysm with his best durability showings.
Peach and Bowser apparently die and are recreated along with the rest of the
matter making up their universe by the Luma's magic when all of the Luma's die,
except for recreating the matter than makes up Rosalina and Mario, because they
weren't destroyed.
>2.02597854E64 yottatons of TNT

This scales to no one but herself, as she gained these magical powers by eating and
living off only star bits, a form of star energy going into her body, over the course of
many centuries. As noted in the SMG1 intro, a small number of star bits combine
and equal the energy contained in 1 Grand Star, so her becoming this powerful from
those isn't at all a surprise to me.

6. A Power Star makes a flash of light or Twinkle, twinkle Power Star, how energetic
you are?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ll4ZwNQR7GQ
@5:52-6:08

Okay, so I linked one of the videos from before; there is a bright flash of light that is
given off by a Power Star and it stops giving off light suddenly as the screen fades
to black. Next, the screen shows a twinkle of light that lights up in the sky and then
goes away as Mario comes flying in with the Power Star to the Comet Observatory.
So, I'm assuming that the Star created this twinkle of light from the level location
far, far away from the Comet Observatory. Using the distance I found in my last
Mario Galaxy blog to this place: http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?
b=22172

= 127,608,189,200 meters

Using angsizing to determine the size of this flash of light and determining the
energy per unit of area to produce a light source of a given intensity, we can
determine the energy that was being emitted in order to produce this flashy effect.

Images:
http://postimg.org/image/z54t7emv9/
http://postimg.org/image/ju4slx1bj/

The height of the screen is 282 pixels (used another shot because of the black
screen, so same dimensions). The diameter of the "light ball" is 9 pixels.

Angsize formula giving us the degree size:

2*atan(9/(282/tan(70/2))) = 2.56035705 degrees

Using the angsize calculator, we have the results with the distance above to the
location that Mario and the Power Star were at and the degrees, we get a diameter
(in meters) of 5703300000.

This means the radius of this "ball of light" is 2851650000 meters.

Given the massive distance and apparent brightness comparable to the stars in the
background, Sol's luminosity should be usable estimate.

Solar energy flux = 6.4E7 W / m^2

(W means Watts or Joules/second)

http://www.geog.ucsb.edu/~joel/g110_w08/lecture_notes/sun_angle/sun_angle.h
tml

The surface area of the "ball of light" would be:

4*3.14*(2851650000^2) = 7.88142038E20 m^2

Multiplying by the Watts per unit of area:

6.4E7 Watts * 7.88142038E20 m^2 =

5.04410904E28 joules

This flash lasted for around a second, so this seems like an okay enough timeframe.

The light energy that this Power Star produces is easily scalable to the raw energy
that many other similar magical stars provide to amp the stats of the numerous
mini-bosses that use Power Stars - and the Grand Stars mini-bosses are surely more
powerful than these guys. This makes all of these guys somewhere around moon
level stats at the very least, since all their abilities are enhanced by this level
of energy these magic stars empower them with.
= ~12.055 Exatons of TNT

This scales to the stats of mini-bosses with Power Stars and Grand Stars. Basically,
every boss besides Bowser, who commands these (weak) whelps in Mario Galaxy
1&2.
________________________________________________________________________M&L: Superstar Saga - Fast As Lightning?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrVH4ONKZl0

This is early on in the series, but it makes for an easy benchmark for speed since
they only get stronger from here on out in the three games following the first?

The Bros. face off against Cackletta and beat her to death.

When the game enters into a certain fight phase part, the Bros are scripted to jump
for this certain attack that she does that creates black colored portals on the floor
which hurt them after they fall into them.

The Bros. jump up to avoid going through them, and the lightning storm that she
causes naturally to happen with her elemental control strikes the floor space around
them. They both move whilst these bolts strike, so image scaling time?

I scaled the distance Mario head was to the top of the screen, so he moved 22 pixels
during the lightning strike.

= (139-117) = 22 pixels

Speed Ratio = Distance Mario Moved / Distance Lightning Moved = (22/73)

Speed Of Lightning = 150,000 m/s
(this is according to the average speed I assume everyone uses, Id like to add a
source, this is unanimously agreed upon apparently, so Ill just go ahead with it)

Now to compare the movement speed to the bolt:

(22/73) * 150000 = 45205.4795 m/s

Or Mach 132.84

I know they dodge the pink magic lightning she directs to hit them with, but felt like
scaling the realistic lightning anyway though the stuff she controls looked to be
moving equally if not faster than actual lightning. So they are multiple times faster
than sound while jumping around? Guess this applies to the speed of anyone who
fights on par with them.
M&L: Shroob Ships Lazor Beamz
Their alien ship fleet can travel from their home planet (with no planets or stars
nearby it) to the Mushroom World (being an unknown distance outside of their solar
system) when assisted with the alien motherships flight capabilities - which its data
is copied by Stuffwell to manipulate time - so these ships can have the mothership
transport all of them through time to a specified location instantaneously. My
previous speed calc that I removed really has not much bearing on the entire fleets
actual travel capabilities since it is actually very unlikely that they flew through
space at all given this fact and the time holey effects that can be seen in windows
when the ships arrive. But what about other capabilities the ships have?

Destructive ray:
Well, for starters, they knock out the bros in a scripted event where they
cant react to a energy blast that one of these fodder ships shoot at them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?
feature=player_detailpage&v=ZuBBdBaihbs#t=770

So, what can these guys tank without getting KOed? In the previous game, we get
some interesting stuff where they tank Bowsers cruiser exploding.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?
v=CAD6yXwGb3A&feature=player_detailpage#t=665
The ship is shown within to be quite large inside, so scaling from Marios height of
1.55 meters from the front of the ship to as far as possible to the back.

(1672/30)*1.55 = 86.3866667
Minimum Ship Length: 86.3866667 meters

(86.3866667/92) = ~0.938985508 meters / pixel for the scale

(185*(86.3866667/92))/2 = 86.8561595 meters
Fireball radius: 86.8561595 meters

Both fireballs have the same radius before the screen goes white and all, and both
of these occurred at the same time and enveloped Mario and Luigi, as well as
everyone/thing else on the ship simultaneously, so how much energy did they both
tank?

http://alternatewars.com/BBOW/ABC_Weapons/Nuke_Effects_Calculator.htm
According to this, the minimum fireball radius for both explosions yield at least 17.1
kilotons of TNT for each. Using the surface area of both Mario and Luigi, which I will
assume both are average human body surface area of 1.9 m^2. Therefore:
Both Bros surface area: 3.8 m^2
Both Explosions surface area: 189601.2 m^2
Bros/Explosions = 0.00002004206

Combined Yield = 34.2 kilotons or 143092800000000 joules

Both bros durability = 143092800000000 * 0.00002004206 = 2.86787448E9
joules or .69 tons of TNT is how much the energy blast had to at least give off to
knock out both with one attack.

Also, they tank the speedy impact to the ground after the explosion sends them
away and are regarded as meteors by the people that sight them, so assuming that
Luigi, being around the average healthy weight for his height compared to Mario is
approximately 1.75 meters or 5 ft. 9 in. gives 65.3173 kg for a low end. Mario is
1.55 meters or 5 ft. 1 in. gives 45.8128 kg as a low end.
http://www.disabled-world.com/artman/publish/height_weight.shtml
Moving around 2 km/s, the speed of a meteor needs to go to ignite in the
atmosphere, they could be going even faster, the kinetic energy for both is
Mario= ((45.8128)(2000^2))=183251200 joules
Luigi=((65.3173)(2000^2))=261269200 joules
Total= 444520400 joules or 0.11 tons of TNT

The energy that the destructive ray that the UFO charged up and shot should be
even greater than this energy figure or the previous since both events really didnt
faze them enough for a KO.
Growing ray:

v=KiC0nPBiPlw&feature=player_detailpage#t=393
One of these ships blasts a Yoshi they mutated to look like Barney the dinosaur to
become larger. How much larger does getting blasted by one of these beams make
an object become?

Yoobs pink eye = (19/36)*1.55 = ~0.818055556 meters
Scale on top image = ((19/36)*1.55)/8 = ~0.102256944 meters / pixel
Big Yoob = 118*0.102256944 = ~12.0663194 meters tall

Small Yoob = 46*0.102256944 = ~4.70381942 meters tall

Growth Ratio: 12.0663194/4.70381942 = 2.5652174

So...this makes him grow about 2 and a half times larger? Shouldve zapped him
more to get him to Godzilla size :laugh
He's roughly around the size of a building, but he's pretty plump and large enough
to explore inside after the party is eaten, so seems believable.
Results seem logical and give some credit to how advanced they are, with
technology that is powerful enough to enslave exotic species. I didn't bother to
mention their transmutation/biological ray that turns things into shroobs or become
shroobified since, there really isn't a way to quantify that. So, that's all for now folks.
Scaling the SMBU World Map
Just thought I'd leave this here whenever I feel like doing calcs again and just
edit/update this entry or something.

Looking back through comments, I remembered a way to get an accurate scale of

the big ass world map in SMBU with a consistent landmark, which allows to scale
the magnitude of pretty much all the feats like the energy behind storm cyclone,
cloud parting, lava moat, and the throw that the airship hand did, etc that all rely on
getting measurements.

http://vnfa8y5n3zndutm1.zippykid.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/gallery/newsuper-mario-bros-wii-u/new-super-mario-bros-wii-u-map.png

Sooo....scaling the size of world map is somewhat easy. Except there are a lot of
ways to go about this, which give very different results. So, in my short free time, Ill
do a quick rundown.

Obviously some objects are not to scale, but...see those rainbow mushroom
mountains around Peach's castle? They show up in a few other games around other
castles. Excluding color and patterns, they all are the same shape, which seems like
a very well-founded assumption given how these appear to be the same size across
in the middle section when they are side by side. They look exactly identical in
proportions, the color patterns are the only defining trait among them, though some
are taller than others, but their thickness remains to be consistent in all times they
have been shown. We can scale the size of identical looking mushroom mountains
that appear in the last few games; on the far off horizon.

http://www.mariomayhem.com/downloads/mario_game_maps/new_super_mario
_bros_ds/2-cannon.png

http://www.mariomayhem.com/downloads/mario_game_maps/new_super_mario
_bros_ds/1-cannon.png

Yes, those are the similar mushroom mountains far, far away.

http://www.ringbell.co.uk/info/hdist.htm

http://www.1728.org/angsize.htm

http://s4.postimg.org/l2hek9kql/Mountain_Scaling.png

So? Assuming that we are seeing at eye level to see at Marios location above
ground, his own height will be used instead of Luigi, who is not that much taller
anyway, the distance to the horizon and at least to the mountain's base from a
viewers height of 1.55 meters is ~4,400 meters.

2*atan(20/(364/tan(70/2))) = ~4.4065011 degrees

Using the angsize calculator, for solving the size, this gives us a width of 338.56
meters for these mountains across their middle section.

Another way to do this?

Take the size of the ships into account, since they are particularly large and
somewhat comically shown to be scaled when next to the castle in the intro as they
are in the overworld.

http://s15.postimg.org/ihfqs7qw9/Ludwig_ship_top.png

Mario's full height w/ hat: 1.55 meters

Ship mast top:

=1.55*(453/82)

=8.56280488 meters tall

Considering its size taking in the full map, it isn't much different from the previous
one, though would be probably more accurate, simple, and likely gives larger sizes
for the stuff shown than the other object though is possibly to be wrong in scale as
it is in the foreground.

Each method gives a pretty surprising size for the entire length that was shown of
the world map, and Peach's castle, assuming I didn't mess up something, around
the scale of a mere thousandth of what the entire Mario world would be shown since
this was on a similar Earth-like planet.
M&L: Dark Bowser Frees The Dark Power
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPvyTRPpNXk
@0:34-1:59

The Dark Star/Dark Bowser pushes storm clouds out of his mouth with his breath
that cover the entirety of the Mushroom Kingdom on-screen.

This calc has been done before, but a statement from Peach asserts that his clouds
actually cover the entire world and put it in darkness, not just the Mushroom
Kingdom, which was done in a speedily timeframe off-screen.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKXlDs3okhA
@3:10
"Long, long ago, a star sleeping deep below the Mushroom Kingdom was dug up. It
was not benevolent. It was a frightful star that hid a great evil. The Dark Star. It
was said that if an evil entity found the Dark Star, the world would plunge into
darkness. That evil-hearted entity would rule the world. Fearing that, the Star
Sprites that watch over us sacrificed much over many years. They sealed up the
Dark Star deep under the earth in Toad Town."

The exaggerated curvature of the planet is more than enough verification for this
feat to be as impressive as it should be interpreted, so let's get on with it.

To cover an Earth-like planet with storm clouds, the spherical shell can be calculated
with knowing the size of the planet and the height and thickness of the clouds.
Modeling from this blog: http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?b=20712

Radius of Cloud Sphere = 6375000 m (thunderclouds like Dark Bowser made are
2000 m above ground level + 2000 m thick, so the outer surface of the cloud would
be 4000 m high. Add that to both sides and you get 8000 m added to the overall
diameter of the Earth)

Volume of a sphere = (4/3)*pi*r^3

'Full' Volume of Cloud = 1.085248455967*10^21 m^3

'Inside of Cloud' Radius = 6373000 m (base of the cloud to the centre of the Earth,
so 4000 m added to Earth's overall diameter)
Inside Volume = 1.0842273660645*10^21 m^3
Actual Volume of Cloud = (1.085248455967*10^21) - (1.0842273660645*10^21)=
1.0210899025*10^18 m^3
Density of Clouds = 1.003 kg/m^3
Mass of cloud = 1.0241531722075*10^18 kilograms

Dark Bowser finishes releasing clouds at most after 85 seconds (given the player
moves the text at a reasonable speed the characters would talk at), by this time he
has finished covering the world with the clouds. Therefore, the clouds all moved half
of a circumference of the Earth-like planet in every direction to completely cover it;
so the speed of the clouds:

Circumference of the Earth: 40075000 m

((40075000/2) m / 85 s) = 235735.294118 meters / second is the velocity of

the clouds.

Kinetic Energy =.5*(1.0241531722075E18)*(235735.294118^2)=

~2.8456674E28 joules

Or about 6.8 Exatons of TNT

This powerscales the same as before, Bowser matched and overpowers his dark
doppelganger's breath and other attacks with similar levels of energy behind them
in scripted fight scenes, and Bowser is beaten by Mario and Luigi regularly. This
reverse powerscales nicely with the Muscle Lord's as well, being that the Bros. are
famous for their might and whatnot.
NSMBU: Kamek Moves A Storm Cloud
I have a big enough break from school to do this calcing shit and wouldn't you know
it, this is going to be looking at an "upgrade" feat to show how threatening this guy
is with the erm.. glasses.

Like the last one, it has to do with cloud shenanigans, so sue me.

He creates a giant weird purple storm cyclone under a cylindrical and realisticlooking cloud that expands way far out into the distance; enough to cover
everything visible in the background with shade. There is a red colored mountain in
the background that can be angsized to the location that the camera is at to
determine the radius of the cloud from where the storm eye is located.

As we know the same type of mountain appeared in previous games, and the
thickness of all of the mountains are the same length in all known appearances, we
can scale based on this single measurement. From my previous blog, the
mountains thickness was measured as 338.56 meters across:
http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?b=24354

http://s11.postimg.org/r1opwmn81/cloud_angsize_3.png

object degree size = 2*atan(Object_Size/(Panel_Height/tan(70/2)))

2*atan(12/(720/tan(70/2))) = 0.904900647 degrees

Size = 338.56

http://www.1728.org/angsize.htm

Distance to mountain from camera = 21436 meters

Now, we need to find the distance from the camera to the castle within the storm
cyclones center. As the camera is positioned above the grassy hill that the castle
rests on, we can scale from the colorful mountains to find the distance from the
center of the castle to the hills utmost edge.

The tornado blocks part of the edge of the hill, so I will scale the radius the entire
way, but that will just lowball the cloud volume in the end if we assume the castle is
farther away.

Mountain thickness = 338.56 meters

Hill radius = 338.56*(210/33) = <2154.47273 meters

Storm cloud radius starting from storm eye = 21436 - 2154.47273 =

>19281.5273 meters

Now, all thats needed is the radius of the storms eye. Using the radius of the hill
from before, we can also know the radius of the upper part of the cyclone, which is
the storms eye, which is more narrow than its base, which at its largest length
conveniently rests upon an area past the edge of the hill. Therefore, we are using
the tornados base radius found above for the storms eye radius.

Storm eye radius = <2154.47273 meters

Subtracting the holes radius from the radius of the storm cloud, we get a doughnut
shaped cloud - a hollow cylinder.

Actual cloud radius = 19281.5273-2154.47273 = 17127.0546 meters

Assuming that this storm cloud has a thickness of 4000 meters (low end average
cumulonimbus cloud thickness), we can find a volume.

Cloud volume = hollow section of cylinder - solid section of cylinder

Not surprising for someone who is second in command of Bowsers forces.

Kamek is fought many times by the Mario Bros. and now those two special Toads in
the recent game. He regularly displays his power in the form of magic blasts that
are meant to physically damage them through concussive force with added deadly
hax effects like transmutation.

For a related feat, see the intro cutscene to Super Mario Galaxy where base Luigi or
Mario will get surprise spell blasted by Kamek into outer space, unprotected, and
survive the attack without any real lasting damage but supposedly the lack of
oxygen knocked them out and they recover on a planetoid with oxygen on it.

As they can go toe to toe with Bowser, and Bowser's physical might is unmatched
by even Kamek's magical might to physically harm the Mario Bros and Company, it
seems logical to powerscale this to them at least as they best him and prove to be
his physical superiors with their attacks.

As Kamek is a special wizard (not going to take into account those annoying
mistranslations that every Magikoopa is a Kamek) this wouldn't readily scale to any
fodder. The Koopa Kids should get the scaling and whatnot who's valued more than
him in the ranks based on sufficient showings.

Mario moves fast relative to some light beams that come out of the Star Rod.
Bowser canonically uses this weapon to fight Mario in this final battle, as with it

being imperative to negate his power he wishes for with the Star Spirits attacks, so
dont give me shit about it not being story supported to calc their relative animation
according to lolgame mechanics.

Here are the individual frames from this video showing the feat:

Mario is officially 1.55 meters tall when including his hat.

Mario is 48 px.

1.55 meters / 48 px = ~0.0322916667 meters / px

123 x 243 px is the length of the light beam.

http://www.algebra.com/calculators/geometry/pythagorean.mpl
The hypotenuse calculator gives me a length of 272.36 px
272.36 * 0.0322916667 meters = 8.79495834 meters

It takes 1 frame for a light beam to reach at distance of at least 8.79495834 meters
(low-ended distance since its in the foreground) and travel off the screen in the next
frame.

It takes Mario 2 frames to move his legs outward at a 90. The length of his foot
from his body is 10 px.
10 * 0.0322916667 meters = 0.322916667 meters
http://www.1728.org/radians.htm
Using the arc calculator, the distance he moved his foot is 0.50724 meters.

Speed of light = 299,792,458 meters / second

Relative time passing per frame = 8.79495834 / 299,792,458 = 2.93368232E-8

seconds

Marios movement speed = (0.0322916667 meters / (2.93368232E-8 seconds*2) =

550360.659 m/s
550360.659 m/s

Or

Mach 1604.550026

This should apply to him and others like his party on his tier in short range combat
speed, he does this running animation in place during battles and should be fast
enough to move his legs this fast up to someone and attack them at close range.
Fits in rather well with the Crystal Stars calc'd speed, I guess. Expect another Paper
Mario calc I planned to post soon.
Paper Mario: Deities and an All-Powerful Magic Wand

In the picture above is the Star Rod. If you hold this object, it will grant anything you
wish to happen. This thing has a feat that has been overlooked for it, so I did some
hard research and found something that surprised the hell out of me, and will
probably make fans of the series laugh their asses off once they read this because
its so astounding that this thing is so much more powerful than was previously
realized.

Context & Background

Quote from Paper Mario
To save the fourth Star Spirit, Muskular, Mario and team disbanded the gang of Shy
Guys toughs. Slowly, it seems as if the life force is returning to the once bleak
night sky... But the stars won't truly shine until the Star Rod is wrested from
Bowser's evil grasp. Three Star Spirits still await rescue. Where in the world are
they being held?
The Star Rod had been used to make stars appear brighter from on Marios planet
by these creatures known as Star Spirits, who are magical old starfish-shaped
creatures. These seven creatures are leaders of their species and also help with
making the stars in the sky brighter with their individual potent magic. Their species
is referred to as Stars (with a capital S). Baby Stars have weak wish granting
magical powers when they are young but become more powerful when they get
older.

When the Star Rod is taken from the Star Spirits by Bowser, they lose control over
the Star Rod and their wish on the Star Rod to make the stars brighter stops
happening. So, the stars become noticeably dimmer in the sky when the Star Rod
stops influencing them with its magic because it doesn't grant wishes of people that
arent holding it.
Quote from Paper Mario

Once the Star Spirits get back the Star Rod, they state say that they will make the
stars in the sky as bright as they were before as their thanks to Mario for fighting
Bowser and returning the Star Rod to them. They make good on their promise
according to Princess Peach, who says the stars have now become even brighter
than they were before after the Star Rod was returned to the Star Spirits and they
used it again.
Quote from Paper Mario

the stars forever shine brightly upon you!
In the Star Spirits promise, they state that all of the stars are waiting for them

Calculation
The Star Rod had been used by the Star Spirits a very long time ago, and
when they wished on it, it was able to channel an amount of energy to make all the
stars become brighter up to the point when the events of Paper Mario took place
and Bowser stole the Star Rod and it had stopped granting their wish to make the
stars brighter.

What I can measure will be the amount of energy that the Star Rod can use per
wish. The Star Rod had contributed the energy to cause all of the stars to be
brighter over time since the Star Sprits had started using it and first wished on it.

The Star Rod was affecting all of the stars, how many stars should there be in a
given fictional universe, since this is an alternate universe from our own?

http://www.universetoday.com/102630/how-many-stars-are-there-in-theuniverse/

According to this, there are around 1E24 stars estimated to be within our universe.

The luminosity of all these stars could be averaged with using Earths Sun as a
median measurement, as most stars range from very bright to very dim. Our Sun is
our average star in regard to its luminosity and almost 90% of our local universes
stars are main sequence, similar to our Sun. In order to account for every stars
brightness in this fictional universe, this should be a conservative assumption. The
Suns luminosity is 3.846E26 watts or joules per second, according to Wikipedia.

How much energy did it require for the Star Rod to make the all the stars noticeably
brighter than before?

http://psych.umb.edu/blaser/blaserWebsite/Psych_355_(Perception)/Entries/100
0/1/1_05._The_rise_of_Psychophysics.html

Well, according to Webers law of JND, the difference threshold for people to notice a
light source becoming brighter would be requiring, for the average individual, a 20%
increase in brightness.

The quote says that the stars in the sky would be shining less bright than normal
until the Star Rod starts affecting them with its magic again.

Therefore, the amount of energy the Star Rod contributes to all stars to be brighter
would be 20% more than the normal amount of energy that stars naturally produce
that makes them so bright. 20% of 3.846E26 watts would be 7.692E25 watts or
joules per second for every single star.

How long did the Star Rod continue to produce this energy for? Well, there are a
variety of timeframes for how long the Star Spirits have been around for and
granting wishes with the Star Rods magic, but heres the most solid one I have.
Quote from Paper Mario

Merle: The Crystal Palace was originally built to honor the Stars... But as time
passed, it slowly faded from the memories of local people... ...and now, no one can
remember how to reach the palace. There is a way, though, and it involves items
that have been passed down in these lands. Here, take this. This Scarf has been
passed down through many generations in Starborn Valley. I wish I knew how to
use it...but I do not. According to the legends... You must use this and another item
that has been passed down in Shiver City if you hope to open the way to the Crystal
Palace. Sadly, that's all I know.
As the Star Spirits are the oldest Stars around and they are honored by people
currently because they grant wishes with the Star Rod, this will serve as a suitable
low end for the minimum amount of time the Star Rod had contributed energy to
stars in the sky since Stars have existed for and honored by people since
generations ago because they have used the Star Rod's magic to affect the stars
and be able to hear people's wishes on stars and then grant them with the Star Rod.
http://www.mariowiki.com/Russ_T.#Star_Rod

As Merle appears to be human-ish, well take the statement of many generations

passing since people made the building to honor the Stars as being a period of 20
years per generation and many meaning at least 3. Wikipedia cites 20 years for the
average length of time for a single generation to reproduce and beget another
generation in civilized countries and it can be defined as 30 or more years in
uncivilized, so well go with the low end of 20 years.

20*3 = 60 years is the minimum amount of time the Star Rod has been making all
the stars brighter for.

Using all the information gathered, how much energy did the Star Rod expend once
it was wished on to make stars brighter since at least 60 years ago?

Converting 60 years to seconds because we are using watts to measure luminosity

with:
60 years = 189345600 seconds

The Star Rod affected all stars, which is 1E24 stars.

Each star needed 7.692E25 watts to become noticeably brighter during that time.

Therefore, the cumulative amount of energy that the Star Rod can use for one spell
when someone wish on it is:

7.692E25*1E24*189345600 = 1.45644636E58 joules

The Star Spirits were able to negate the Star Rods energy that amped Bowser when
he wished for invincibility when they all combined their power to do the Star Beam
attack, so each of them get 1/7 of the total energy that the Star Rod uses per wish.
They blast him and he buffs himself with the Star Rod's power multiple times during
their fight with him.

Destructive potency of one of the Star Spirit's attacks:

1.45644636E58/7 = 2.0806377E57 joules

The Star Spirits specifically granted their combined magical power to amp Mario and
his partners in this fight against Bowser, so it makes sense story-wise that suddenly
Mario and his partners can fight against Bowser when he can whip out energy blasts
from the Star Rod when he wishes that has the energy of supernovas behind each.
The Star Rod affected stars many light years away, so its range is not limited to just
planetary, as was previously thought. The speed of its magic it shoots out should be
very, very fast, as the stars light years away from the planet were made brighter
the following day after Mario told Luigi about the story and went to the party Peach
where Peach had made the statement about the stars being affected by the Star
Spirits and Star Rods magic. As for how long the Star Rod takes in granting each
wish, it is usable in hth combat between massively hypersonic characters, so maybe
the three seconds thing I said before in my other blog is bullshit. Well, thanks for
reading the blog. Perhaps Ill post one more calc for the Mario series and move onto
another. This series takes too long to explain shit because nary a few Mario games
have extensive or no plot :maybe

So, this makes these magic guys and the magic wand somewhere around multisolar system level in stats, if my calculations are correct. AoE control with
concentrated attacks is rampant in fiction, so don't ask me why Bowser wasn't
blowing up planets and shit. I trust I don't have to say why someone can punch
something and not have collateral damage.
SM64: Power Stars create dimensions
Heh, this is my last calc for the Mario series. What better way to finish off with this
game?

Quote from Super Mario 64

Toad: Am I glad to see you! The Princess...and I...and, well, everybody...we're all
trapped inside the castle walls. Bowser has stolen the castle's Stars, and he's using
their power to create his own world in the paintings and walls. Please recover the
Power Stars! As you find them, you can use their power to open the doors that

Bowser has sealed. There are four rooms on the first floor. Start in the one with the
painting of Bob-omb inside. It's the only room that Bowser hasn't sealed. When you
collect eight Power Stars, you'll be able to open the door with the big star. The
Princess must be inside!
After taking over Princess Peachs castle, Bowser starts creating many dimensions
(called worlds) within the paintings on the castle walls and in parts of the castle
walls that have openings like doors or holes. When Mario touches the paintings or
travels through the walls in the castle, he magically is transported either to places
located on his own planet or into dimensions separate from the space within his
own universe.

http://www.mariowiki.com/Wing_Mario_Over_the_Rainbow
http://www.mariowiki.com/Bowser_in_the_Dark_World

Bowser cant do this normally with his own power, he uses a ton of magical items
called Power Stars to create many different dimensions, at a rate of at least one
dimension at a time with this magical power aiding him, according to the quote.
One dimension Bowser makes has multiple stars and a planet inside it. Mario arrives
on an Earth-like planet in said dimension after touching a painting and fights a
bunch of monsters to get back the Power Stars that Bowser gave to monsters within
the dimensions he made. One of these monsters says something interesting about
what this dimension has inside it once Mario defeats him and gets a Power Star to
use its power to unseal dimensions that Bowser had sealed.
Quote from Super Mario 64

Wiggler: Owwch! Uncle! Uncle! Okay, I give up! Take this Star! Whew! I feel better
now. I don't really need it anymore, anyway--I can see the stars through my ceiling
at night. They make me feel...peaceful. Please, come back and visit anytime.
http://www.mariowiki.com/Tiny-Huge_Island#Star_6:_Make_Wiggler_Squirm

So, lets calculate what Bowser created in this dimension and how much energy
each Power Star contributed to create this dimension. There is a star that this
Earth-like planet is orbiting around to make it day and night; and at least 2
stars that are able to be seen at night in the sky on this planet. That totals up to 3
stars and a planet similar to Earth.

The GBE of the Earth is 2.24E32 joules and the GBE of the Sun is 3.8E41 joules
.
I will assume the GBE of the 3 stars as being around the same as our Sun, as its an
'average' star and 90% of the stars in our universe are main sequence stars, like our
Sun. One of the stars has to be similar like our sun to support the Earth-like planet's
environment. The planet Mario teleports to is Earth-like, so evident enough
assumption why Im using Earths GBE.

3*(3.8E41)+ 2.24E32 = 1.14E42 joules

This totals to 1.14E42 joules for the total amount of energy to create this dimension
with all of the planets and stars in it.

How much did each Power Star contribute?
Quote from Super Mario 64

Bowser: Noooo! You've really beaten me this time, Mario! I can't stand losing to you!
My troops...worthless! They've turned over all the Power Stars! What?! There are
120 in all??? Amazing! There were some in the castle that I missed??!! Now I see
peace returning to the world... Oooo! I really hate that! I can't watch-- I'm outta
here! Just you wait until next time. Until then, keep that Control Stick smokin'!
Buwaa ha ha!
Bowser says he never had more than 120 in his possession in the alternate ending if
Mario collects more than 70, so we will use this higher amount to low-end how much
energy a single Power Star outputs, on average, when <120 were used to create
this dimension.

So, the average energy output of a Power Star is:

1.14E42/120 = 9.5E39 joules

Mario ends up collecting and using the power of at least 70 Power Stars to complete
the game and fight with Bowser after unsealing the dimensions hidden the castle

with their power. This means that the special, big Power Star Bowser uses (a Grand
Star? :maybe), should powerscale with amping Bowser's stats since he fights Mario
with that power as the final boss and they are evenly matched and trade attacks. In
any case, Bowser with the his big Power Star is supposed to be stronger than Mario
even with his Power Stars according to his banter, but the stronger opponents don't
always win. Bowser goes down for the count after he smacks into bombs that Mario
comically chucks him into with brute force after overpowering his tail and throwing
him.

9.5E39*70 = 6.65E41 joules

This is for the average energy output of 70 Power Stars.

As for why they aren't blowing up a lot of shit with this power? Their attacks
concentrate the energy they play around with and don't have repercussions on their
environment for dumb reasons, as with many things in fiction.
Summary

Destructive Power Of 1 Power Star = 9.5E39 joules or 2.27 tenatons of TNT

Welp, better get to organizing all of my other calcs into folders for each sub-series,
been putting that off this whole time. It was fun doing this series, but I oughta leave
the rest or else I'll end up with 50 calcs for this series and I did it up till I was bored
with doing the series.
The Gamer manga might get a calc from me...in the future.
