Organization and update of schedules


Organization of the exhibition schedules were one of my primary tasks as a coordination
manager. The documentation needed for this process was the database iof clients, their
requirements, budgeting, and floor plans designed for the venue. According to Garrison &
Vaughan,(2008), organization is one of the primary functions of manager and important in
keeping track of all tasks planned. This activity has provided me learning to improve the
communication skills in both verbal and non verbal modes. Long arguments and negotiations
with prospective clients and made them agree on the offered site plan and schedules if their
activities were challenging but have provided me an edge on the other new internees
2. Increasing social networking
Increasing social contacts and networking with new clients were an important task on this
internship as I am a savvy internet user and use social networks like Facebook and Twitter to
communicate friends and colleagues. For this advantage, I have developed the face book page of
Creative Vision and started using Twitter account for intra office communication. These
advancements have positively influenced the speed of working and have affected the company
networking in an excellent manner. Our clients have preferred this fast communication mode for
the updates of exhibition proceedings.
A part from these successful venture, I have faced certain difficulties also in establishing the
warm relationships with some seniors and my fellow interns. The success factors for my progress
have affected negatively and it was become more difficult for me to decrease these barriers. The
team management skills learned during this phase are very important as I had to learn to accept
the difference of opinions, criticism, and stoppages from the team members. In this phase, the

tips given from my supervisor were very important, and have given me a real life edge on
understanding the attitudes of my team members.

Task IV- Review of Personal Development Plan


4.1 Review of the effectiveness of PDP and activities
Performed
The critical assessment of designed goals of this internship opportunity needs to be made to
analyze the success of the project. This action based Learning activity is analyzed on the basis of
organizational as well as personal goals. The set goals were analyzed during and end of the
internship period with significant areas are found like Effectiveness in future actions, work-to-do
lists and searching of new solutions with creative edges. The supervisor at Creative Vision was
not only peculiar about work deadlines but also taught practical ways to organize and lead the
teams in crisis situations.
Work Preciseness in future project needs planning and effective team management skills trio
accommodate the differences, lead with a difference, and optimizing the minimal resources
available in the organization. The absence of understanding consumers needs, lack of
organization, and the ignorance of little details of projects can lead to serious blunders and may
result in failure of the projects. Therefore, this tenure of about fo6ur weeks has given me lifelong
learning.
The initiatives of the launch of this mega brands exhibition has also added ample experiences of
managing the tasks in urgent notices and how tight vision of a small creative agency like
Creative Vision can make a difference for hundreds of clients, the trust of our clients were on the
professionalism of our working teams and the visionary approaches of the CEO. All in all, the
achievement of my three leadership and management skills planned in PDP were somewhat
achieved through this experience and I have learnt a lot from my success and failures.

4.2 Further Development and update of PDP


In order to further develop the PDP in future and to conclude the learning experiences, the
addition I am making here is mostly related to the internal willingness and leadership qualities
that urge for success in any professional. The role of coordination manager was very important
for the department as well as for the whole organization. In this role, I did not only learn from
others experiences, discussion, social networking, but also from the hidden potential of myself.
The role of supervisor is also very important in discovering the skills and polishing them for
attaining better results.
I am hopeful for future endeavors that I can utilize my learning experience in professional career
and to advance my studies in the areas of team building and negotiation skills. Effective
communication skills are mandatory in keeping connections within and outside the organization.
Also, using analytical skills for decision making processes are also very important and I will use
these skills in planning and analyzing processes in future tasks. Furthermore, team management
is the area that needs to be primarily focused in future as I have faced serious difficulties in
making collaboration in teams.
