Scope

2.1 New Enhancements

None

2.2 Functional Changes in Inventory

2.2.1 Receiving

In Oracle Inventory, the add to receipt functionality is supported in the Receiving Open
Interface (ROI). You can now do an add to receipt transaction through the backend and
with the application windows.

In Oracle Inventory, you can now create substitute receipts from item receipts.

2.2.2 Mobile Receiving

In Oracle Inventory, the Descriptive Flex Field (DFF) entered in the Receipt window is
displayed appropriately in the Header Details window of the Receiving Transaction Summary
window.

2.2.3 On-hand
In Oracle Inventory, the existing reservation is updated when manual allocation and the move
order transaction for the Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) batch is performed for which
reservations already exist.

2.2.4 Cycle Counting

In Oracle Inventory, when you create a cycle count for a serialized item with the serial control
option and if before counting the entry, if the same serial is transferred to a different location
(staging) due to a sales order pick transaction, then the system displays an error message while
counting the same serial in the original location.

In Oracle Inventory, in the Cycle Count Approve Summary window, you can view the cycle
count entries created by an employee who is no longer an active employee.

2.2.5 E-Record and E-Signature (ERES)

In Oracle Inventory, in an on-hand status enabled organization, when you change the material
status in the Material Workbench window, the system creates a single ERES when only one
record is selected in the window.

2.2.6 Reservation
A demand source of Internal Order has been added to enable users to select Internal Order at
the line level and for serial controlled items.

2.2.7 Report
The Serial Number Transaction Register report no longer truncates the serial number to 23
characters; it displays the whole serial number.

2.3 Functional Changes in Warehouse Management

2.3.1 Physical Count
The Launch Adjustment program for physical inventory completes successfully when the physical
inventory is created with blank tags, and the License Plate Number (LPN) is counted in a different
location.

2.3.2 Shipping
While performing Direct Ship, for an auto-created delivery line, Freight on Board (FOB) is
assigned and this line can be shipped through Direct Ship using only hot keys (<Esc> s for
<Continue/Ship> followed by an <Esc> n for <Confirm/Next>) in the mobile application, Ship
Confirm validates FOB code correctly.

2.3.3 Label Printing

After performing the purchase order receipt for a lot and lot expiration controlled item using the
mobile client, when you navigate to Warehousing > Labels > Label Request to manual print the
material label for the received item, the Lot Expiration field on the label is populated with correct
value.

For the LPN Summary Label, for the Receipt Business Flow, multiple labels are
generated appropriately when a user has multiple entries in the per_people_f table.

Label set can be created successfully when the organization is not Electronic Product Code (EPC)
enabled.

2.3.4 Inbound

While attempting a return to supplier for a one time item, system does not check reservation.

In Oracle Warehouse Management, you can do inspection and delivery for Advanced Shipment
Billing Notice (ASBN) receipts. Previously the system would not set Advance Shipment Notice
(ASN) flag for ASBN receipts while inserting move orders for inspection transaction, due to
which move order was getting created but transaction was failing while validating the move order
against ASN Shipment line.

In Oracle Warehouse Management, when performing the receipt of an Inter-Org Transfer with a
standard routing you will not be able to receive more quantity than the shipment quantity of a lot.

Returns from Receiving to Supplier for a Lot Indivisible item works correctly with multiple lots
in a License Plate Number (LPN).

When the putaway strategy is changed, the WMS rule engine will suggest a new putaway location
after the interval of pre-generate.

2.3.5 Inquiry
Walkup Inquiry mobile page does not require you to enter the Item field when personalization is
enabled.

2.3.6 Packing Workbench

Packing Workbench works correctly while querying eligible material with the ship-to location
having 256 characters.

2.3.7 Outbound

While displaying graphs in the wave planning feature, the titles on the graphs are translated into
the language in which the application is being run.

When you open the wave details in the Wave Workbench, the system displays all the details
because the size of line_status and line_progress fields was increased in the
wms_wp_lines_gtmp table to 200.

The update of the cost group of the inner LPN is restricted, when you perform a manual drop of
material in an LPN from a project locator to an existing LPN in a common locator where
common material is enabled

Partial quantity allocations against a move order line is not allowed for individual lot and serial
controlled items in Project Manufacturing (PJM) organizations.

Curtail pick with cycle count workflow creates a single independent task.

2.3.8 Material Management

While running the Push Replenishment request, if you specify the ABC compile group and item
classification through parameters, then the result replenishment move orders will contain only
those items belonging to the specified ABC compile group and item classification.

The on-hand status retains the same status for the cost group update through both the Mobile
and Material Workbench.

Calculate Billing Units concurrent program displays all rules in the Rule Name field when the
service agreement is created just for the current day.

Billing Rules window displays service agreements in the Service Agreement field even when
their end date is the current system date.

The system updates the current locator capacity while doing putaway of the LPN for
transactions which include assigning a container item to the LPN that already resides in a
specific locator, or changing physical attributes of the items on the Item Master window.

While performing the sales order pick task for lot controlled items on Mobile, the system does
not allow you to load the entire LPN, which contains the same required quantity with different
lot for which the assigned lot status disallows the Shop Order Picking Transaction.

2.3.9

Pick Load

While performing Pick Drop, if the default drop location is overridden, then for the subsequent
drops this overridden (new) location is displayed to you as the drop location, when the outbound
operation plan Direct Consolidation in staging lane within delivery is used.

The system enables you to drop tasks inside the first task/LPN in consolidation locators when
the operation plan is set as "LPN based consolidation in consolidation locator, within delivery in
staging lane".

2.3.10 LPN Management

Querying of a License Plate Number (LPN) through the Update Status page, displays the LPN
details like Weight, Weight UOM, Volume, and Volume UOM appropriately.

When two users attempt to ship LPNs (with no delivery) in parallel which are loaded at the
same time, the system enables shipping the second LPN when you press the Ship All button for
the first LPN.

2.3.11 Lot and Serial Management

Lot Indivisible items that are packed in a License Plate Number (LPN) are not allowed to be
Split/Pack/Unpack partially.

Serial Number field displays appropriately while receiving an ISO shipment with serials
generated at sales order issue using function inbound >receive- >Int Ship. When receiving
an ISO shipment which has multiple lines with serials generated at sales order, receiving
transaction process runs successfully.

2.3.12 Pick Release

The custom validation that is added in the WMS_Re_Custom.Pub.Custom_Validate_Picking_Sku
API is called if the organization is WMS enabled.

2.3.13 Warehouse Shipping

Wave status will be moved to Released (Warning) when the wave is released in concurrent mode
with sales orders having insufficient quantity in the Wave Workbench window.

2.3.14 Devices

When signing on to the device using mobile where multiple sign on is not enabled, the
employee name displays in the WMS Define Devices window for WCS enabled
organizations.

Pick none using the wms_device_confirmation_pub.device_confirmation API works

correctly when the move order has more than one material transaction.

2.3.15 iSetup

The WMS Rules Workbench API works correctly for Rule Type "Cost Group" and with
the return type code as "V".

In WMS Rules Workbench API, the filter condition for Organization Code fetches all
organization codes.

WMS Rules Workbench API works correctly for planned cross dock, opportunity cross
dock, and cartonization.

2.3.16 Rules
WMS picking rule with attribute4 as parameter for customers object is created correctly.

2.3.17 Task Management

While running the Launch Task Release concurrent process, the carton group is cartonized
only when the carton group tasks is released.

2.3.18 Labor Management

Manual & System Directed Task under Engineered Labor Standards Attributes enables
entering of paper based pick tasks for Activity - Manufacturing with Activity Detail of
Picking for a Load/Drop operation for pick transaction.
