Why We Need…
THE NEW AMERICAN MINUTEMAN PARTY

One hundred and forty five years ago, Abraham Lincoln began the Gettysburg
Address with this solemn reminder:

“Four score and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth on this continent a
new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men
are created equal.

“Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any
nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure…”

My fellow Americans: In 2008, far from Gettysburg and far from the battlefields
of Afghanistan and Iraq, here in the homeland, we are now engaged in another
war—a civil and a cultural war—for the hearts and minds of the American people
and the destiny of our nation.

The proof lies plain for all to see. Voter fraud is rampant. Hispanic radicals
openly indoctrinate our children in public schools. Foreign soldiers, protecting
drug shipments, cross our border to threaten American law enforcement at
gunpoint. Wall Street gangsters steal our money and deplete our retirement,
while a never-ending stream of illegal aliens overwhelm our neighborhoods,
erode our wages, deplete our social services and rob, assault, kidnap and murder
our citizens.

80% of American voters polled want the borders protected and illegal aliens sent
home. Yet in this current election cycle, neither major candidate committed to
border enforcement; instead they both curried votes from the radical group La
Raza.

Why? Because America’s power elite and the leadership of both parties are
committed to Open Border Policy, Amnesty, Globalism and the destruction of
American sovereignty.

We the People have been betrayed by our political, media, educational and legal
institutions. We’ve been betrayed by those who have sworn an oath to protect us.

Most Americans believe illegal aliens are the problem. They are wrong; illegal
aliens are a manifestation of the rot and decay that lies at the heart of America.

Illegal aliens are here because American businessmen, and bankers, who profit
from their cheap labor, want them here; because the professional classes who
profit from the disease they spread and the lawlessness they create want them
here; because left wing radicals who practice the politics of racial and ethnic
division want them here; because elected officials who encourage and facilitate
their entry now work tirelessly to keep them here and keep the floodgates open.

Thirty years ago, government officials, acting for financial gain at the behest of
wealthy Arizona businessmen, began the process of intentional violation of
American border laws in Pima County Arizona, the Gateway to America.

In the days, weeks and months ahead we will name public officials who violate
the law to keep the aliens here; name law enforcement officials who use Gestapo
tactics to silence dissent and name judges who protect those directly involved—all
the way from the Tucson City Courts right up to the Federal District Court and
the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal.

President Lincoln said this about bankers:

"The money powers prey upon the nation in times of peace and
conspire against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than a
monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, and more selfish than
bureaucracy. It denounces as public enemies all who question its
methods or throw light upon its crimes. I have two great enemies, the
Southern Army in front of me and the bankers in the rear. Of the two,
the one at my rear is my greatest foe."

In the days, weeks and months ahead we will prove the direct link between the
importation of illegal aliens, the oversupply of housing, the use of sub-prime
loans to grant home ownership to illegal aliens and balance the books, the
destruction of our financial institutions, and the theft of a trillion dollars from the
pockets of American taxpayers.

It will be called, The Great American Rip-off

President Lincoln concluded the Gettysburg Address with the following pledge
and recommitment of the American People:

“—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain—that
this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that Government
of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.”

The time has come for Americans to stand together and renew Lincoln’s pledge.
The time for talking is over. The time for action has begun.

The time has come for all Americans to reject the traditional labels of “Liberal,”
“Conservative,” “Republican” and “Democrat” that media and powerful special
interests use to divide us.

We are Americans. We are of all creeds and colors. We come from every corner of
the earth. The time has come for us to find our common ground as Americans, to
unite and indict the special interests—businessmen, bankers and politicians—
who violate our laws and profit from our misery.

The time has come to unite as Americans with a common cause: the protection of
our borders, our laws, and our culture.

To that end I call for the formation of a new third political party, the New
American Minuteman Party, with the expectation that by 2012 Independents and
all other third parties will put their differences behind and unite behind the one
party that can unite America.

All Americans know that in 1776 the Minutemen were the original patriots.
Americans know that without the Minutemen there would be no America.

President John Kennedy said:

"Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to
take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic
purpose of their daily lives and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice
for that freedom."

Since their re-formation in 2003 the Minutemen have accepted Kennedy’s call.
They have worked tirelessly to protect our borders.

The time has come for all Americans to unite behind the New American
Minuteman Party, to secure the blessings of liberty, to keep the promise of our
forefathers, to renew our faith in the American dream and renew President
Lincoln’s pledge, so that government of the people, by the people, for the people
shall not perish from the earth.
