Summary

The Assistant Manager Corporate communication and Youth


engagement will be responsible for all offline communication, and
leading the youth engagement programme to build awareness,
engagement and resources

Key
Responsibili
ties

i. Knowledge bearer of the external communication space in the


context of the development sector
ii. Manage all written content, design and execution for all
communication products. This will include annual products,
newsletters, annual report, project reports, fact sheets,
overview brochures, and other similar assignments
iii. Manage all offline campaigns including content, design and
execution- advocacy, fundraising, corporate partnerships
iv. Curate existing photograph library, add new pictures by taking
photographs, and manage photography assignments. Collect
content from the field.
v. Curate the video library, add new videos, and manage video
assignments. Collect content from the field.
vi. Manage awareness and engagement with youth supporters of
CARE including bringing new supporters into the fold
vii. Track and provide periodic reports on campaign performance
viii. Ensure that all communication products are of high quality and
delivered on time
ix. Work closely with the online digital and social media team to
ensure synergy in approach, content and execution
x. Provide creative leadership to campaigns as well as standalone
creative products
xi. Write and edit blogs for CARE Website including writing
content for the website and social media
xii. Execute and manage CARE events, workshop and international
visits
xiii. Provide support during emergency situations
xiv. Any other communication work which may come up from time
to time

i.

Mass communication graduate with specialization in public


relations and /or journalism
ii. 5-7 years experience in a similar role in an INGO/ large NGO
iii. Preference for candidates who has experience of working with
the Youth or a youth programme
i.

Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English


and one vernacular language

ii.

High creative design conceptual skills

iii.

Devoted to social media

iv.

Good understanding of marketing communications

v.

Should be able to work closely with other teams and


manage vendor partnerships
