Wroclaw Technology Park
The purpose of this proposal is to compare Gdansk Technology Park
and Wroclaw Technology Park as possible locations for our new office in
Poland and to recommend which option we should choose.
First of all, both technology parks are located in universities, thus it is a good
location because it is a safe area protected by private security, also the
environment is more proactive and productive. However, Gdansk University
is located near the city and has more space available for expansion.
Even though, Gdansk University has more space available Wroclaw
University has 32,000 students. Having so many students is better because it
would be easier to found leaders, entrepreneurs, talented people with new
ideas.
Wroclaw University is near Berlin and Prague, so the lifestyle is more relaxing
and productive. Also having 32,000 students, Wroclaw University is more
dynamic and stimulating institution. On the other hand, Gdansk University
has more grants available which is useful because you can use the
Universitys equipment, technology, this will help us to attract staff to work
there.
In conclusion, we would recommend Wroclaw University because it has a
better location surrounded by major international IT companies with offices
in the park, which will bring the students bigger opportunities. Nevertheless,
Gdansk University has 13 other IT companies in park all are very small, so
the students will grow in a poor environment. Also, we recommend Wroclaw
University because is a dynamic and productive place. Our next step should

be contact Wroclaw Technology Park in order to find a suitable building. I

suggest that, a later stage we ask them to helps us find the staff we require.
