DOs

1) The RO Plant should be operated by the trained operator only

2) Check the Voltage in all phases before start the RO Plant
3) Check the Pressure difference of the MCF and closely monitor
4) Change the MCF cartridge if the pressure difference exceeds above 1.0 Kg/cm2 or
once in 15 days which ever is earlier.
5) Monitor the pressure & Flow at different points of the process as recommended in our
manual
6) Adjust the recovery of RO product water flow as per the plant design.
7) Ensure system interlocks and protections are healthy.
8) Monitor and record product water quality and pressure difference across the RO
module.
9) Carry out minimum 15 minutes flushing before and after shutdown of the plant.
10) Calibrate pressure gauges, flow meters, LP.Switchs & TDS/ph meters at regular
intervals.
11) Keep records of all the data in log-sheet.
12) Maintain minimum inventory of original spares and consumable to reduce down time
of plant operation.
13) Regularly checked chlorine/Bleaching powder in RO raw water.
DONT S
1)
Do not operate the plant when slit Density Index of the feed water is more than the
specified limit. It should be <4.0
2)
Do not run the plant without checking the presence o free chlorine in raw water. it
will damage the membranes immediately
3)
Do not operate the plant when the pressure difference across the MCF is more
than 1.0 Kg/cm2.
4)
Do not operate the plant when feed water TDS is more than design TDS.
5)
Do not By pass any trip protection provided for the safety of operation
6)
Do not attempt to attend to any repair work during the operation o the plant.
7)
Do not attempt to draw more product than the design limits as it may damage the
membrane.
8)
Do not disturb Feed & reject valve setting without TPL permission
