Introduction
Bahria University is a public research university primarily located in
Islamabad. The university is one of the top institutions of higher learning in
the country and secured its ranking in among country's top ten and most
notable universities in "general category" by the HEC, as of 2013. The
university is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities of
the United Kingdom.

Service
Bahria University Islamabad intends to outsource its cleaning responsibilities
to external companies. Your Company has been selected as one of the
possible vendors for the task. You are requested to participate in the bidding
process which can benefit both parties.

Service objectives

To provide cost effective services, ensuring best value for money and
within allocated budget
To ensure that the operatives who deliver the service, are trained to
ISO standards and work in a safe and efficient manner
To use where possible cleaning materials that are not harmful to the
environment
To Provide the Best Enjoinment to the student s and teachers
Creating a hygienic atmosphere for good health of all stock holders

Service provision

Provide cleaning services within academic buildings and departments

to a standard such that a pleasant environment is created for students,
staff and visitors.

Support services will provide the staffing, equipment and materials

required to provide the agreed service, within resources available.
The service will be provided on weekdays except Bank holidays and
University closure days.

Service standards
The expected standard after cleaning and waste collection is:
For Classrooms/Laboratories/Lecture theatres/Lifts/stairs

All low level surfaces should be free from dust

All fixtures & fittings should be free from dust & debris
Floors should be free from debris & dust
All waste receptacles empty

Note: Personal papers, files or belongings will not be removed or adjusted

whilst cleaning
For washrooms & Toilets

All low level surfaces should be free from dust

All fixtures & fittings should be free from dust & debris
All sanitary fittings should be free from dust, dirt and smear free
Mirrors should be clean & smear free
Floors should be clean & free from debris & dust
Consumable items replenished
Roller towels changed

Note: Only one method of hand drying is provided by cleaning department

(Hand drier or paper roller tissue).

Inspection Information
To participate the bidding process, a rep of your company is required to
attend the inspection of relevant buildings on 17-10-2015 at 1100 hrs.
