AGI SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY:

UAV SYSTEMS

AGI technology provides UAV mission analysis and optimization

based upon complex sensor coverage analysis, communications links
analysis, and navigation accuracy prediction in a single, commercial
off-the-shelf software (COTS) package.
UAV operators to system developers use the software to optimize
routes, modify missions on-the-fly, develop CONOPS, design T&E
plans, and enhance operations. As a result, AGI technology applies
to the entire platform development cycle: system design; pre-mission
planning; real-time operations; and post-mission reconstruction.
Key Analysis Capabilities:
Sensor coverage analysis. Predict what the EO/IR or SAR sensors will
see, when, for how long, and what the revisit time will be for any userdefined sensor. This analysis, performed in real or simulated time, enables the mission route to be assessed relative to the intended targets
of interest, thus predicting the success of the mission prior to launch.
Communications links analysis. Communications links throughout a
mission are essential, but can be subject to unexpected losses. AGI
technology models customized antennas to predict LOS, bent-pipe,
or satellite communications, while accounting for terrain, weather,
platform body masking, satellite locations, and UAV platform attitude.
Predicting poor links prior to a mission allows for re-planning or rescheduling to ensure adequate communications are maintained.
Navigation accuracy prediction. Knowing where and when a GPS
signal is available is essential in mission design and analysis. Using
accurate GPS satellite positions, along with terrain, weather, and RF
interference impact, AGI technology calculates platform navigation
accuracy. Additionally, AGI software models UAV psuedolites.

Platform Development Cycle Support:

System design. Define platform and sensor requirements, develop
CONOPS, and set capability requirements.
Mission analysis. Model and optimize UAV routes based on communications links analysis, navigation accuracy, and sensors, and create
a simulated preview of the route from the perspective of the UAVs
onboard cameras. Additionally, by importing geographic informationimagery, terrain, maps, and 3-D city and object modelsinto
AGI software, a dynamic spatial context for the mission is achieved.
Platform operations. Ingest data feeds and provide real-time operator
visualization, enabling analysis on how a changed flight path will
impact the missions flight time, sensor visibility, and communications
links. Through this visual real-time tactical decision aid, operators can
respond to target reprioritization. Further, by integrating AGI technology into a custom workflow, UAV operators can leverage a proven
analysis tool within a customized interface.
Post-mission analysis. At the conclusion of an operation, analysts can
instantly examine UAV missions through recreated flight paths, sensor
footprints, and swaths from recorded data. They can use this information to recommend next-step activities related to the overall mission.

Information sharing and promotion. Share pertinent information for

use in electronic debriefings by summarizing key eventsincluding
time on target, targets acquired, and tactical objectives metfor postmission analysis. Play missions back in simulated time, embed them in
Microsoft PowerPoint, or integrate them in Web-based applications.
With proven use by thousands of users in command centers around the
globe, AGI technology is immediately available to assist both operational commanders and warfighters with unmanned aircraft systems.
