Rajanayagam in Kangayam:
The meeting at Kanchepuram was attended by about 30 on 17th evening. The
one day lectureship at Tambaram, near
Chennai was attended by around 100 and
the evening gospel meeting at Chengalpattu was also attended by the same number,
However, it was heard by many in homes
as the speaker system was arranged in
such a way. Thanks for your prayers.
Sister, since the trip was so hectic and
hardly no rest and proper place to stay, I
got sick on Saturday evening before the
gospel meeting and I had to take pills to
manage the meeting. Then, on my way
back, I had vomiting in the running train
by 4 0 clock in the morning. Now, I am
okay and back to normal.

The kingdom of God as a whole is
growing through the effort of many faithful brethren, like you, around the world
and I want to mention little about my part
in Myanmar this year.
I have made two trips to the coastal
delta, called Laputta, on January and
February to encourage the brethren, to
worship God together and teach the commandments of Christ.
Myself and two others from Yangon
and Pyay went to Aan town, Rakhine state
and had five days Gospel meeting for the
forth year. This is the effort of the local
brethren and personal donors but this year
the church in Kalay helped some with financial expenses which brought a great
relief to the local brethren. About forty

people attended and six persons were
baptized for the remission of their sins.
Among those six, three of them had attened our school in Hmawbi last year. It
takes some time to work the word in their
hearts.
Our school session from March 16 to
April 17 was successful, well attended and
encouraging. Three precious souls were
added to the kingdom as a result of this

school. This school is run by World Evangelism Teams work, under the leadership
of brother Wayne Barrier. This year our
student number increased up to forty.
Now I am going to Kalay tomorrow
with three other evangelists from Pyay
and Taunggyi to do Youth Camp for five
days. After that we will be travelling to
many other places to evangelize and encourage the brethren.

in Madurai, South India:

Recently we got a request from one

of the preachers in Meghalaya state
(North East India) to come and train
the Christians in that area for evangelism work through our J.C.School
of Evangelism. This preacher shared
with us how he was converted He
said that he became a Christian after
reading in 1980s one of the books
published by J.C.Choate. He also
shared with us that after his school
studies the principal of his school,
who was a Christian, had him to stay
with him for further studies. And that
school principal had given him the
book published by J.C.Choate. Its so
wonderful to hear that a school headmaster who was a Christian made his
student to learn the secular studies, as
well as a book that would teach him
the truth.
At recent times, in India, the
need for literature (both printed
and Braille) is increasing. There are
many faithful Churches in India, who
are involving themselves regularly
in Personal evangelism (or) Door to
door teaching (or) Evangelism training classes (or) Bible camps (or)
Bible seminars (or) Gospel meetings,
and so on. But after all these activities, they are longing for literature,
to be used as a follow-up material
to convert the people and further for
their spiritual growth.
With the help of the world evangelism team, we print and send THE
VOICE OF TRUTH INTERNATIONAL English magazines from
Madurai throughout the Indian subcontinent and also to neighboring
countries. This magazine is now being known in the brotherhood and in
many denominational churches as
a Sound and Quality material, to be
read by them and recommended.
