Beanstalk, Google App Engine and Heroku.
SAAS> is a software distribution model in which applications are hosted by a vendor or
service provider and made available to customers over a network, typically the Internet. Office
365, Online Photoshop

Analytics
Analytics is not a tool or technology rather its a way of thinking and acting. Analytics is the use
of sophisticated statistical algorithms to explore, analyze and understand the data to generate
insights from it, discover hidden patterns and take advantage of these to make better decisions.
Lot of more data as compared to before. 90% of worlds data generated in last two years-study by
IBM. Lot more data is being collectd and stored.
Analytics: Business analytics, Predictive analytics, Descriptive analytics, Big data analytics,
Data Mining, Knowledge discovery, Artificial Intelligence, Data Warehousing
Eg: Amazons concept of personalization by capturing user details. If am lookin a book on cloud
computing, amazon also suggests books on big data and cloud architect.

of previous diagnosis), retail (behavior of consumer purchasing)

Social media is the collective of online communications channels dedicated to community-based

input, interaction, content-sharing and collaboration.
Social media analytics is the practice of gathering data from blogs and social media websites
and analyzing that data to make business decisions. The most common use of social media
analytics is to mine customer sentiment to support marketing and customer service activities.
Social media marketing (SMM) takes advantage of social networking to help a company increase
brand exposure and broaden customer reach. The goal is usually to create content compelling
enough that users will share it with their social networks.

data which includes personnel histories, skills, accomplishments
and salary. Here the regulatory body of the HR department of
SVIT can maintain the data precisely with the aid of this software
(web-based application).

driver IC to implement differential drive mechanism.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Got selected in Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) through campus placements
where I was trained in Mainframes.

After training I was assigned crucial Cummins Rocky Mount Engine Plant, USA offshore
project. It involved enhancement and maintenance of manufacturing execution system (MES)
and reporting application.

Key Responsibilities:
To conduct feasibility analysis and prepare solution design
Development and Testing of solution
Creating a deployment procedure for each delivery
SPOC for all Process Improvement related activities in Cummins account to bring value addition
to client

Key Assignments:
Developed and executed
o The roadmap for implementation of Power Sweep 4 (an initiative in which all
software are upgraded to its latest version) for RMEP, Cummins. In this initiative we
need to make all software used by Cummins compatible to Microsoft Windows 8.1
and Office 2013
o Solution to enforce calibration of leak test machines before start of every shift. Leak
test machines were governed by different software platform.
o Solution for archiving older data resulting into better data retrieval performance. Here
we created an automated script which would perform operations on data table so that
we will be archiving data for a specific period only
o Kitting solution for marine engines. In this certain engine parts needs to be kitted
before shipment of engine. The number of parts can be of order up to 200. Here
maintaining the association of which part has been packed into which box was a
challenge

How does this position fit into your long term career goal?

Since my school days I have been keen to know more about functioning of computers,
applications and all sorts of process in general. My work experience deals with developing
software systems for specific task, defining and improving processes to bring value addition to
clients. My association with sports has helped me to experience and understand that analysis and
integration of various factors helps to generate better results.
My long term career goal is to become an IT consultant and then evolve. IT consulting broadly
requires skills:
Understand customer pain area this skill set will enable me to target the core problem
definition
Customer business orientation mindset If my customer progresses it will lead to the
progress of the organization for which I work
Technical skills this skill set will enable me to better understand the system technically
Learning rigor IT is a constantly changing field. So a desire to be constantly updated
with latest trends would help to devise good solutions for clients

Current role synergy with my long term goal:

Requirement Analysis and Functional Review: This would help me to develop the
skills of understanding what customer wants and how can we deliver with reference to
business process
Project Management: This would help me to harness management skills like planning,
risk mitigation, estimation, resource management and execution.
Business Process Improvement: This would help me learn to employ latest technology
trends to make existing business processes more efficient

My struggles of life have so far revolved around making my Mother proud of her single handed
parenting and taking forward the values left behind my father. I believe that the purpose of life is
about securing the matters at stake and then making advancement towards the grand. Sports
groom me and systems fascinate me. My aim in life is to be the key player of an industry where
my acumen and knowledge can shape the business and my experience can execute it.

1) I understand systems as Organizational elements like Man, machine and money working
towards the common goal.

1) During first year of engineering, I won the Table Tennis finals against three years
consecutive college champion and a national player. As a fresher, it was my fight against
all odds as he was college favorite backed by college crowd and sports committee.
2) At TCS, working on Cummins project I undertook the responsibility to make Cummins
applications compatible with latest Operating System. This initiative was directed by
Cummins under Power Sweep 4 drive.
