Life is a matter of perception of every human being.

We all experience our existence in a

unique manner, designing our own distinguished path. As a result of the previous statement we can
conclude that psychology is not an exact science as mathematics, being more difficult to approach
or understand. Also this reasoning leads to a certain conclusion that reveals the human psychology
and the functions of the brain as the world most enigmatic subject.
All these theories shaped in my mind at the age of 13, when I first read an inspirational
book, Illusions by Richard Bach, that established my first step to self-development and also to a
better self-knowledge which allowed me to be aware of every gesture of mine and of others. Since
then, psychology represents my passion, being the domain in which I will never know enough, the
subject about I will continue to learn all the rest of my existence with unlimited contentment.
Over the years, psychology overcame my actions as I chose to follow a humanistic profile
where I studied science like sociology, philosophy and logic that simplified my approach in this
domain as they are related. My interest in the subject was discovered by my psychology teacher
who was positively surprised by my analysis on the calming effect that raindrops may have on
human brain. The elaboration of the effects that an external factor may have on our mind was
facilitated by my habit of noting my conclusions and generalizations about Homo sapiens.
To fulfill my ambition to acquire knew skills and knowledge I have participated to creativity
contests, like Ninja Essays Competition and Shakespeare School which helped me to establish my
aptitudes, cultivating my desire to higher my abilities, like fast reading and creative thinking. In
order to enrich my education I have also got involved in the national contest Without
acknowledgement of delivery organized by IICCMER and I won the second place in the national
competition Unity and Diversity in the E.U, where I have learnt to be more competitive and to
respect certain requirements.
My main objective is to make others see a hint of good in everything. As I am an introvert I
tend to understand peoples needs and behavior in certain situations, considering that I am always
analyzing myself in every aspect of my life, also refering to some difficulties I might encounter.
That is why the volunteer project in which I joined in this summer was very important for me as I
discovered the creative and innovative vision of children on their surroundings and I assisted them
while they were expressing themselves through art.
However, to expend my knowledge I have also taken part in multicultural projects, like
Aiesec, where I diversified my experience and I realized that studying in another country is the right
decision. I chose UK due to the significant number of institutions that rank among the best in the
world which had developed a different teaching system based on practice, concerning every student
needs. I have also participated to a Chinese language course where Ji Yan, our trainer, thought us
about her culture, holidays, art and also some common formulations in Chinese.
I
consider myself to be an active individual as besides psychology I enjoy reading, writing, worlds
mysteries, learning foreign languages, playing chess, dancing and I can hardly find myself doing
nothing. My personality type makes me communicate deeply with others, easily speaking in
metaphors and parables, and understanding and creating symbols to share my ideas and
conclusions.
To sum up, my passion and dedication to the most complex being on Earth, as well as my
ambition of completing the job at the highest standard makes me suitable for this career. Also I
firmly believe that obtaining a degree at your institution will offer me the opportunity to pursue a
fulfilling career in the field of psychology.
