Beyond
When the old life ends and my new life begins,
And Im free of my shackles and bonds,
My spirit will soar, Like the cold north wind roars,
As I leave this body behind.
When my soul reaches the heights of the great Northern Lights,
I will pause to look just one more time
At family and friends and the pains of young men
As they struggle to carry life on.
But dont cry for me, my spirit is free,
And I am dying I must do alone.
Life has been sweet. So rejoice when you think,
My soul has only gone home!

The Order of Service

Samuel Campbell was born in Mount Pleasant (Gadsden County), Florida on

April 8, 1939, to the union of James and Lillie Campbell.
He was a member of Oak Grove AME Church in Mount Pleasant (Gadsden
County), Florida where he was baptized into the faith at an early age.
Samuel was blessed to have loving parents that instilled the deep rooted
values of faith and to be of service to others early in life. God further blessed
Samuel with the gifts of love of fellowship and conversation. As he grew
older, his gifts of service, love of fellowship, and conversation further
developed, and as a man he became an even better humanitarian that used his
gifts to plant good seeds in fellowship with each act of service and every
conversation. More importantly, Samuel ensured that each conversations
was planted with these three instructions; (1) Duty-Bound, (2) Stay
Strong, and (3) Stay Prayerful.
He attended Carter-Parramore High School in Quincy, Florida and graduated in
1957. After graduation, he moved to Cincinnati and worked Queen City Barrel and
Roadway, thereafter, he met, fell in love, and married Rose Brown.
Samuel deeply loved his family, and was Papa-Dad-Uncle-Brother-Nephew,
Cousin, Friend to all. He welcomed everyone with a warm smile, and an earnest
desire to ensure a good seed was planted at goodbye. In essence, Samuel embodied
God's desire for us to be in fellowship with one another and harvest good fruit, and
he would give his last without blinking an eye. His love of fellowship which included
his famous long conversations and good seeds, will greatly be missed.
