Praise to Allah SWT writer, For His mercy I can finish and can prepare papers tentangg
"drugs". In order to fulfill the task subjects Indonesian.
On this occasion kepad authors would like to thank all those who have helped in completing
the preparation of this maklah.
The author realizes that this paper is not perfect. By karen, the authors expect advice and

A. Definition of Drugs
In terms of the effect and impact on drug users can be divided into three (3) categories /
types :
1. Depressants
These drugs slow down the central nervous system. This drug can make people feel
relaxed, less tense, and less aware of events around him. Examples are:
Alcohol
Heroin
Inhalants
Sleeping Pills
Ketamine
Pain killers (painkillers).
2. Stimulant
This drug can speed up the central nervous system, can help people feel more alert and
improve physical performance. Stimulant taken to make people feel happy and decreased
appetite. examples are
Tobacco
Cocaine and cocaine powder type (Crack)
Amphetamine
Methamphetamine
3. Hallucinogens
This medication is sometimes called the "change of mind" or hallucinations. This
medicine can increase one's awareness of sight, touch, taste and hearing. Can hear the soft
sound. Hallucinogens also can change a person's mood. Examples are:
Marijuana
Ecstasy
LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide)

Narcotics many kinds, there is a liquid, solid, powder, leaves, and so forth. Below is
described a little about the various narcotics, namely:

Materials opioids is the quintessence of opium. Opioid substances which include groups
such as: Heroin, also known as diamorphine (INN) can be found in the form of pills,
powders, and liquids.

2) Positive Impact

drugs provide benefits to human life. Following the positive impact of narcotics:
1. Opioid
Opioids or opium used for centuries as a painkiller and to prevent coughing and diarrhea.
2. Kokain

improve endurance and stamina and reduce fatigue.
3. Ganja (marijuana / joint)
People earlier use of cannabis plants for bag making material because it produces a very

No single factor can predict whether a person will become a drug addict, but usually
influenced by biology and social environment, for an explanation:

E. Efforts to Counter Drug Addiction
1. Preventive
Religious Education from an early age.
Development of a harmonious home life with caring and compassion.
Establish constructive communication between parents and children

Children are given as early as possible knowledge about drugs, sex, and the negative

2. Legal Action
Support of all parties in the implementation of the Act and regulations accompanied by

Unfortunately the Criminal Code does not regulate drug abuse, unless the Act No: 5/1997
on Psychotropic Substances and the Law no: 22/1997 on Narcotics. But why until today
abusive increasingly rampant drug? Perhaps both the Act needs to review the relevance or
reissued new Act that regulates drug abuse.
3. Rehabilitation
Established rehabilitation centers such as hospitals or hospital room specifically for those
who have suffered from addiction. In accordance with this, there are several alternative
countermeasures that we can offer:
a) Considering that drug abuse is a global problem, then the solution should be done through
international cooperation.
b) Reduction nationally, the most important is the implementation of the law
indiscriminately, not favoritism. Then tackling the drug problem should be integrated
between the security forces (Police, Army, Navy, Air Force) judges, prosecutors,
immigration, diknas, all agencies / institutions ranging from the center to the regions.
Then among the National Education Department must also dare to do a urine test to
students in junior-high school, and whoever positive indication that the drug was removed
from school and channeled to a rehabilitation center. In schools in order to do a raid
without prior notice to students who may be conducted by teachers every week. Similarly,
among the students in the college.
c) Especially for drug prevention in schools so that the good cooperation between parents
and teachers is activated. This means that the teacher in charge of overseeing the students
for study at school and parents to supervise their children at home and outside the home.

d) Police and relevant authorities in order to routinely make sudden raids against various

e) The Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Police Department to publish a booklet
containing information about various aspects related to drugs. For example, if a drug is,

general public, is a drug that is legal or illegal. But sometimes is not legal when using these
drugs in a way that does not fit or buy them from people who sell them illegally.
Drugs can be classified into 3 (three) categories, namely:
1. Narcotics - to lose consciousness or sense.
2. Psychotropic - affects the psyche of a selective effect the central nervous system of the
brain.
3. Drug or hazardous substances.
In terms of the effect and impact on drug users can be divided into three (3) categories /
